I have tickets for a concert in section D, row 7 seats 46-48. is there an obstructed view from these seats?

    • admin says:

Here is the view from seat 48 (an aisle seat). Bit of an obstruction but mist of the main stage in view.

hello, I have secion E row 12 seats 9 and 11, will my view be obstructed? Thank you

  3. Anglardarin says:

It would be great if you had your website set up so that we could see photos of what the stage looks like from each section. Thanks!

    • admin says:

Click on the “Seat Views” link in the menu. That is where all of the seat views from each section are stored. They are grouped by section.

  4. Eric says:

Are section K3 row 1 seats any good or is the view obstructed? Thanks!

    • admin says:

Eric it may depend on the seat number in the row. Here is a view from Section K1 Row 1 Seat 21. Hope this helps.

  5. mike says:

Hi purchased tickets through stubhub for phish aug 5th. My section is K2 row 14 seat 114 and 115. I thought all the seats either go odd or even?

    • admin says:

Mike not always…and I am not sure why. Section K1 has even numbered seats only. Section K3 has odd numbered seats only. Section K2 have consecutive numbered seats so your seats are next to each other. Go figure.

  6. Anne says:

Also Section E Row 18 seats 1 and 3 would they have obsructed views? Are they good seats? Thanks!

    • admin says:

Anne no obstructed views. They are right on the aisle. Here is a view from seat 1 in row 15 (just 3 closer) of section E. I will post a view in the seat view section from row 18 this weekend.

    Hi,

I am looking into buying tickets for the John Mayer Concert … Promenade 2 , K3, Row 10 Seats 19 and 21 …. are these good seats?

    THank you.

  8. Melissa says:

Hey I want to purchase tickets to The XX concert in Sep. I was looking at seats in Sec D, Row 7, Seats 38 & 40. Do those seats suck, is there an obstructed view?

    • admin says:

Melissa take a look under the Seat Views section on the site. Scroll down to Section D. There you can find the view from Section D Row 7 Seat 40. There is an obstruction but it looks pretty minor. Hope this helps.

  9. Teresa says:

    Hi,
I just purchased tickets for the System of a Down show. Section L3 Row 14 Seats 8-12. are they bench seats?? A view would be greatly appreciated.

    • admin says:

Teresa your seats are bench seats. Get there a bit early and rent a cushion ($1 each). Here is the view from seat 12. Enjoy!

  10. Tarryn says:

Hi. I have tickets for System of A Down and we are Pool C Row 5. I just looked at the detailed map and I can’t figure out where that would be. Is there anyway you can explain how close we are?

    Thanks,
    Tarryn

    • admin says:

Tarryn because this is a lease event the boxes in the Pool Circle are replaced with metal folding chairs. Pool C is dead center. Row 5 is super close to the stage. Great seats! Here is the Pool Circle seating map for lease events. Enjoy!

  12. CB says:

I have seats in Sec FI for Steve Martin in two rows. 5-13 Row 19 and 1-11 Row 20. Looking at the stage from the seats, where does seat 1 start? I need to make sure our handicapped group member in on the aisle. On the left or right? Are these are bench seats? Are there any obstructions from these seats?

    Thanks!

    • admin says:

CB these are bench seats and there are no obstructions. Seat 1 is on the right hand side of the section as you face the main stage (closest to the main entrance). Because this section has only odd numbered seats your seats are only 2 off in each row. You might want to consider renting cushions for $1 each. Makes the night softer ๐Ÿ™‚

  13. Katie Tellez says:

I just purchased tickets to see Samantha barks in Chicago on July 28th. I’ve got Section T1 and seats 8-12. Am I gonna have a good view an if I leave before the show ends will I be able to get to the stage door quickly?

    • admin says:

Katie you don’t mention which row in section T1 but here is a view from row 1. It should give you a good idea of your view. I have to admit I have never been asked about getting to the stage door. If you leave early enough you should be able to get to the stage door. Weather or not they give you access I can not say. Enjoy!

Hi! Thank you for such an awesome service! I’ve never been to the bowl and buying tix for Josh Groban.
The seats i bought are “Ramp A, Box Seats WC2, 9 and 10”. Are these in a box with folding chairs and a table or the concrete area? Thank you so much!!

    • admin says:

Sheila I apologize I did not see this request until it was past your performance. Did all work out OK? I saw the show on the 2nd and thought Josh was amazing.

  21. maria gallardo says:

Hi! I recently purchased tickets for SOAD concert on july 29, 2013. My seats are section s row 4 seats 107- 110. Now, are these seats together, because I thought
the odd and even seats were seperated from eachother? Just a little worried about
    our seats! Thanks!

    • admin says:

Maria some sections have just odd numbered seats and some sections have just even numbered seats. Some sections like S have both even and odd numbered seats next to each other. Not sure why the Hollywood Bowl uses this numbering scheme. Maybe some day I will find out. Enjoy!

  22. Pamela R says:

I’m going to see thirty seconds to mars in October got seats 21 and 23 on row 18 of section j2, just wondering if i could get a view of the stage from my seats ๐Ÿ™‚ thank you!

  23. virgnia says:

We have ticket that are M1 seat 11,13. I was told that you can bring a picnic basket and can eat as you listen to the music. Is that true? can you bring glass bottles.

    • admin says:

It depends on the type of concert. If the concert is sponsored by the Hollywood Bowl then you may being in food and alcohol. If the concert is a LEASE event then there are stricter rules. Food is still allowed but no alcohol and not glass or aluminum cans regardless of contents. Which concert are you going to?

  24. Anthony says:

Hi I’m looking for the seat numbers of the aisle seats in section g2 … I’m a big guy and prefer to have one side of me with no people… Thanks !

    • admin says:

Anthony aisle bench seats often have extra room. Section G2 has only even numbered seats (2,4,6,8,etc). This means seat 2 is always on the aisle. On the other side of the row the aisle seat numbers vary because of the conical shape of the Bowl. Take a look on the Seat Views page to see a few of the aisle seat numbers in Section G2. Hope this helps.

  25. Matt says:

Do you have a photo of terrace box 1325?

    Thanks

  26. Lorna says:

Hello. Just bought two tickets to Opening Night at the Bowl, June 22, 2013 ( Steven Tyler & Joe Perry of Aerosmith, Patti Smith & John Legend). Section N1, Row 19, Seats 2 and 4. What’s the view like with these seats? It’s fireworks night so I’m looking forward to having a terrific view! Thanks!

are ramps a and e only for the disabled?

  28. Helen says:

Hi we got tickets for 6 Terrace box 1131 for the playboy jazz fest 6/15/13 can anyone give me an idea of where and a view from that section?

    • admin says:

Helen take a look on the Seat Views page. Under the Terrace Section you will see views from a few boxes around yours like Box 1033 (your box is one row behind and one box over). You can also look on the Seating Chart page to see exactly where your box is located in the Terrace Section. Should be a great view of the Jazz Festival. Hope this helps.

  29. Angellie Gimarino says:

I just bought 4 tickets on live nation for josh groban’s july 4th special. The tickets say we’re in Sec p3 row 16 and seats: 19, -21831, 21862, and 12. I don’t see any pattern with these numbers. Will the four of us be sitting next to each other??

    • admin says:

Angellie section P3 has odd numbered seats only (1,3,5,7, etc). So while seat 19 makes sense I have never heard seats referred to as -21831 or 21862. I think I would call Live Nation and ask.

  30. Cilla says:

I just bought tickets for 4th of July extravaganza in Section D seats 36-42. How bad is the obstruction??

  31. Gis29 says:

Hi I just bought play jazz fest tickets section E row 18 seat 17-15 are they good seats?

  32. tina says:

Hello, do you recomend terrace boxes over the super seats ? Also which section of the super seats do you recomend…thanks

    • admin says:

Tina I think having a box at the Hollywood Bowl is the perfect Bowl experience. You get your own space and a table to dine on. Once you are done with dinner the table comes down and you can enjoy the performance. They are more expensive seats but I think worth the extra money. As to which Super Seat section is better well section H is dead center but J1 and G1 will give just as good views. Go for the seats closer to the main stage in either section. Hope this helps.

  33. David says:

    Hi,
Just following up on my comment on May 28, 2013. Still waiting for a response.
    Thank you.

  34. Irene says:

Hi. Bought tix for 30 Seconds To Mars. Sec E row 11 seats 1&3. Taking my 6yr old daughter. How good is our view? Is our view obstructed? Are we close to restroom? Just need to know if she will be able to see. Typical mom questions. Lol

    • admin says:

Irene 2 great seats right on the aisle. Good clear view. Section E is very close to the concessions and restrooms. Here is the view from seat 1.

Hollywood Bowl section E row 11 seat 1

  35. Val says:

Glad that I came across this website! Really great job you are doing!
Flying into Los Angeles this October for a concert, and I am in the super seat section of J1, row 8, seat 30. Looks fantastic with it being dead center. How many seats from the aisle is seat 30, by any chance?

  36. GalloK says:

I purchased tickets for a concert this summer. I just need to verify if the seats are bench or regular stadium seats. I’m worried bc I thought all seats were bench seats except for the box seating but I see actual seats. I’m in section E from the map on Ticketmaster (closest section to box seating) I’m on the bigger side so in case they are stadium seating would I be able to move to a handicap seat maybe?

    • admin says:

GalloK Section E is all bench seating. Get there early and you can rent a seat cushion for $1. Makes the benches so much more comfortable. Enjoy the performance.

  37. Just purchase tickets for Josh Groban & July 4th Fireworks Spectacular – Section: N3 Row 1 and would like to know if there will be additinal seating (like folding chairs) and or will people be allow to picnic in the grassy area in front of this row. This will be my first time visiting the bowl and I’m pretty excited! Thanks in advanced for any feedback.

    • admin says:

Louis there are really no extra seats. That is not a grass in front of your section but a hedge. You can eat right at your bench seats or at one of the many picnics areas around the Bowl before you take your seats. Many people do both. I always tell folks to get to the Bowl early and enjoy the entire evening…don’r rush. You will have better choice of picnic areas too. Also if you get there early rent seat cushions ($1 each). It makes sitting on the benches a lot more comfortable. Enjoy the fireworks!

  38. vanessa says:

i recentily purchased my tictets for the hillsong united tour my section is gardn4 row642 seats 5,6 they are together right n van find them on the seat chart

  39. David says:

How close to the aisle is seat 5 and 7 in section J2 row 20 and is there a seat 1 and 3 in this row? If so are they aisle seats? How far does row 19 go from seat 1 to what in section J2?

    Thanks.

    • admin says:

David just got back from the Bowl. Section J2 has just odd-numbered seats so seat 5 in row 20 is two from the aisle. Row 19 goes from seat 1 to seat 43 (again odd-numbered seats only). I added some photos from these seats on the Seat Views page. Hope this helps.

  40. JB says:

    Hi,
Wondering were the aisle seats are for tickets I purchased. They are in section J2 row 19 seats1-15, and row 20 seats5-29? Thanks.

    • admin says:

JB obviously seat 1 in row 19 is on the aisle. In row 20 seat 43 is on the aisle. Section J2 has odd-numbered seats only so seat 29 is 7 seats off the end. I added some views from you seats on the Seat Views page on the site. Hope this helps.

  41. RJ says:

I have tickets to an upcoming show. I’m wondering if section Q1, row 4, seats 13-15 are good. Are they near the aisle?

  42. Seniors Services says:

We have 30 tickets for She & Him: in Section K2 Row17 seats 111-120 AND Row18 seats 101 – 109. Are any of these seat #’s an isle seat??
Is there a seating chart that shows the detail of the seat #’s?
    THANKS

    • admin says:

In row 17 seat 120 is on the aisle. In row 18 seat 101 is on the aisle. I too photos of the views from each aisle seat. Take a look on the Seat View page. Hope this helps.

  43. Doug Wachtel says:

I will be going to the Playboy Jazz Festival again next month as I do every year and was told that the box I recently purchased, Box 261, is slightly larger than a typical 4 seat box and could accommodate an extra person tightly if desired. Is this correct? Your site is amazing and very helpful! Thanks.

    • admin says:

Great Garden Box Doug. You will have a nice view. I checked the box out and it is one of the larger 4-person boxes. The sizes vary because of the conical shape of the Bowl. That being said you might be able to put another person in the box (technically not allowed) but not sure a 5th chair would fit especially if you have coolers or picnic baskets. I tried adding another chair and it would no open all the way. Hope this helps. here is your view.

  44. Joe says:

I have seats in Section T1, Row 16, seats 42 and 44, are these ailse seats? And if not how close to the aisle are they? Thanks.

    • admin says:

Joe the aisle seat is 48. Since this section only has even-numbered seats you are two seats off the isle. Here is your view.

  45. Ali says:

Just bought tickets this morning for Zac Brown Band. Didn’t realize the obstructed seating in sec d. Our seats our sec D row 13 seats 22 and 24. Just want to make sure we will be able to fully see!

Hi – Love your site. I want to see Fleetwood Mac at the Bowl. I know the pool circle seats are folding charis for this event, but wondering in Pool A if seat 1 is closer to the center, or is the highest number in the row closest to center
    thanks!

    • admin says:

Jim the higher numbered seats are towards the center. Seat 1 is off to the right. Got to say that all Hollywood Bowl Pool Circle seat views are great. Take a look from Section A Row 7 Seat 1 below.

  49. Aron says:

    Hi there Mr. Admin,
I was wondering if you could post a pic of the view of where my seats will be for a concert I’m attending this summer at The Bowl. The seats are section K1, row 13, seats 34, 36, and 38. I was also wondering if these are near the aisle or not. Thank you so much. You do great work :0) -Aron, in Sherman Oaks, CA

  50. Lorna says:

Hello! Would like to know before I purchase any tickets, if sections J2, N3-M3 are bench or individual seats. Let me know, thanks!

    • admin says:

Lorna all bench seating. Get to your concert early and rent a seat cushion for just .50 cents.

  51. Jackie says:

Hi I just purchased tickets for August 30, 2013, and my seats are in Promenade II F2
Row 8. I was wondering how the seats look like

  52. J Graham says:

I’m coming down from Canada to see M83 and Phantogram. I’m a huge fan of both. The seats I acquired through Ticketmaster are P1 row 11 seats 10/12. Thanks to your site I see they are decent. Now I am really torn about buying terrace box seats (1545) on Stub Hub for $590 all in. It’s a lot of money for tickets to be sure, but I am coming down just for this, Phantogram is just a trio, and M83 is one man (eventhough he has the orchestra behind him) and I may never get a chance to see a show like this again. I also really want to experience this venue, which your site has done an incredible job of depicting. What are your thoughts on the cost/benefit of this option?

Side notes; is it easy or even ethical for me to sell my other tickets (which are will-call) out front before the show? Also I am 6’5″ tall – are either option better suited to a tall guy?

Thanks for all the help and a great site!

    • admin says:

It’s a tough call because it has to do with money and that can be such a personal decision. My opinion is get the box seats. I think getting a box at the Hollywood Bowl makes it a more intimate evening and is so what makes the Bowl well… the Bowl. It is your own personal space not to mention the box seats are closer to the stage. I tell everyone to arrive at the Bowl as early as you can so you can enjoy the entire night and not just the performance. People watch, have a cocktail and have a bite to eat. Squeeze as much out of the evening as possible.

Good question on selling tickets at the gates. I have never really seen folks trying to sell tickets there like I do at other events. It may be because it is much harder for people to walk up to the Hollywood Bowl (parking, buses, etc) like you can at other venues or it may be that I have never noticed. Hope all this helps.

      • J Graham says:

Thanks for the advice. I did end up purchasing those box seats. I just knew I’d regret it if I didn’t.
One more question; considering we are visiting from out of town, and this is a more contemporary concert, what do you recommend we do for dinner? I want to fully experience this venue and its amenities. The idea of having dinner in the box itself is very cool.

Let me put it this way; if this was your first visit, knowing what you know now, what would be your itinerary?

Thanks again. Your help is much appreciated.

        • admin says:

I have my own philosophy on this and let me say upfront not everyone agrees. The seats are pretty pricey so I like to make as much use of them as I can. I get to the Bowl as soon as the gates open. I really enjoy having a glass of wine, bite to eat, chatting and watching people file in. It’s part of having a box at the Hollywood Bowl.

I almost always bring my food in. I stop off at Whole Foods or Gelson’s and get an appetizer, dinner and dessert (for intermission). You are coming from out of town so you might not have the luxury of shopping before hand. You can order picnic baskets from the Bowl or even full Box Service. It’s a bit more expensive. The food is OK but I just like spending the morning of planning the meal with friends.

          http://www.hollywoodbowl.com/visit/restaurants

Since this is not a lease event you can bring your own liquor in. Big bonus of the Bowl. If you do decide to bring your own meal be sure to bring a tablecloth (a cloth napkin will do). People really do set a nice table with candles and flowers. So civil … lol

  53. Christian M says:

Hello there. I just bought tickets for the almost sold out Phish show on August 5th, 2013 for my two sons and me. We have never been to the Hollywood Bowl, and I was wondering if we have any obstructions in our way, that I keep reading about. This is a fantastic website, by the way. What a great service you all give. We are from Arizona, so we are travelling about 6 hours.

Anyhow, our seats our in Section I am hoping so very much that we will be able to see. It looks as though we are kinda over on the far end.

Any info would help us out a whole bunch.
    Thanks so much,

    Hi,

I just bought 4 tickets for Josh Groban on the 4th of July. It will be our first time to the Bowl. These are the best seats I could get – Section SEC N1, row 19, seats 10-16. What are these like, I do understand they are far back but are they still somewhat good? Do you have a picture of the view from these seats/section?

    Thanks

    • admin says:

Kevin you seats are dead center. They may be far back but with the big screens you will be all set. Also you are going to have an amazing view of the fireworks. Better that the folks up close. Here is the view from your seats. Enjoy!

  55. Lisa Estes says:

Hi, I just bought one ticket for Josh Groban on July 2. I have a quick question about my seat. I have Garden6 Row 764 seat 4. Can you tell me exactly where this is? I can’t find any actual seat numbers. Is it on an aisle? I was hoping to take some great pictures. Do you know also are they having any festivities after the show or is that only July 4th?
Thank you for any help, I appreciate it.
    Lisa Estes

    • admin says:

Lisa take a look at the seating chart on this site. Click on it to get the full version and then zoom in to the Garden Section. You can see that Row 764 is really Box 764. It is on the aisle. Great seat! At the end of the performance the Hollywood Bowl puts on an amazing fireworks display while the orchestra plays in time. I’ll be there on July 2nd as well. Enjoy!

  56. vic says:

Just an easy question… I have little kids (2 & infant). I wanted to purchase July 4th Josh Groban with fireworks. Is there grass seating so the little ones can run around? If not, any good seat suggestions for that event? Thanks!

    • admin says:

Vic there really isn’t any small child friendly grass areas inside the Bowl. You get either a box or bench seats. They do start the July 4th shows earlier for younger children but not sure that young. Also the Bowl has a pretty steep incline that makes running a bit dangerous. Here is what the Hollywood Bowl says.

Although there is no minimum age for admittance, regular evening concerts at the Hollywood Bowl are generally not suitable for young children. In any case, children ages two and up must have a ticket to enter the theater, must sit in the seat indicated on the ticket, and should be able to sit quietly through a concert. (Children under two years of age do not require a ticket.) Management may require that baby strollers and carrying devices be checked at the Operations Office.

  57. Stacey says:

I just bought 2 tickets for Pink Martini. Section N3 Row 10 Seats 13-15. Are these good seats and do you know how many seats are in row 10?

    • admin says:

Stacey Section N2 Row 10 seats start at 1 and end at 27. This section only has odd numbered seats (1,3,5,7…27). Here is your view.

    Hello…
Just bought section D row 1 32 and 34. I just read obstructed view. I paid double of what they go for. I am hoping the view will not be so obstructed. ๐Ÿ™ I am very excited as this is our first time at the hollywood bowl!

  61. Mo says:

Been trying to sort through the comments to figure out on my own…. Are all ‘POOL’ sections up front ? Is POOL B, Row 1, near the front Row ? Thank You !

    • admin says:

Mo the Pool Circle is right up front and section B row 1 is as close to the stage as you can be. Great seats.

  62. Jim says:

I saw a pic you posted of seat 46, row 12 of section D. When you have the time, would you mind posting a photo a Section D Row 12 Seat 48? I have tickets for both seats in that area.

    Much appreciated,

    Jim

  63. Melissa says:

Hey I was wondering the view for Sec E row 19 seat 21? And curious if its better then J2 row 4 seat 29… Thank you! ๐Ÿ˜‰

    • admin says:

Melissa section E has some great views. They are off to the side but are as close as many of the Terrace Boxes. Hope this helps.

  64. Mike says:

Hey Admin, any pictures for Section E row 7 seats 21 and 23?

  65. carmen says:

bought ticket seats terrace 1823 are they good seats?

  66. Camille` says:

Just got tickets for Keith Urban and although having no budget, I ended up with seats in Terrace Box 1720 seats 3 & 4. I would appreciate a viewshot! I have never been to the Hollywood Bowl and I am very excited having heard only great things about it!

  67. Ricky says:

So I’ll be seeing Bjรถrk on June 11th, and wanted to know what the view is from K3, row 9, seats 21 and 23. Great site and thanks a lot!

  68. Cam says:

Hey admin, any views for section R1, row 12, seats 45-37?

  69. Robert says:

    Great site! Thank you.
    I have questions about the Super Seats sections. Due to the soundboard and other equipment;
    – What row number is “front row” in sections G1 and J1?
    – And does the next row in each of these sections have a two seats on each aisle without any seats in front of them?
    Thanks, again.

    • admin says:

Robert you are correct about there being a few Super Seats with extra leg room. Here they are.

      • Section J1 Row 5 Seats 2,4,28 and 30
      • Section G1 Row 5 Seats 1,3,27 and 29
      • Section H Row 5 101,102,113 and 114

  70. Reed says:

    Hey…

I have two pairs of tickets for Phish at the Bowl on 8/5, and I’m trying to decide which ones to keep and which ones to get rid of. One pair is section J2, Row 12, Seats 33 and 35. Other pair is in Terrace box 1564. I know the Terrace seats are obviously much closer, but I’m worried about not being able to see the band and lights as well as I’d like.

    Thanks a lot!

    • admin says:

Reed here is the view from section J2 row 12 seat 35. My opinion is take the Terrace Box. You are closer. Get better seating and a table for dinner. Select the “Seat Views” menu item on the site to see the views from the Terrace section. I think it’s the way to go…IMO.

  71. Braham says:

I love this Q&A, thank you so much!

When you have the time, would you mind posting a photo a Section D Row 10 Seat 26? I just purchased these tickets for a John Mayer show and am worried that I made a bad decision.

    Thanks!

  72. Matt says:

Hi – I just bought Obstructed View tickets to Phish on Aug 5th. We hvae Section F3, Row 11, Seats 30-36. Can you let me see what those seats look like? I’ve sat in Section D obstructed view seats before and they were great, but closer than F3. Thanks.

    • admin says:

Matt here is the view from seat 36. It is the furthest to the right (on the aisle) so it has the most obstructed view of the seats you have. The obstruction seems minimal. Hope this helps.

  74. TJ says:

Just purchased tickets to a show and was wondering if I should keep these tickets, or try for new ones. I know that closer is better, but just curious by how much…
My original seats are in terrace box 1856. The other sections I’m considering are terrace box 1126 & terrace box 1262 (at a higher cost of course).
Would definitely appreciate any pics you could provide.
Also, were these boxes for parties of 4 or 6?

    • admin says:

TJ cost vs. view is always hard for me to comment on because spending is such an individual thing. I will say that Box 1856 is on the main aisle and can be distracting with all the people crossing behind you. The boxes in row 12 do offer a better view but that is what you would expect for the extra cost. Between the two boxes 1126 is closer to the main entrance/busses. Here is a view from Box 1126. They are all 4-person boxes. Hope this helps.

  81. Holly says:

    Hello,
I’m attending a concert in August & won’t receive my actual tickets until later this summer. The band use a “lottery” pre-order system, & sent an email confirming two seats as: “RSVD P2 RSVD Sec SEC T2, Row 5, Seats (11-9)” Am I correct in reading this as having my two tickets in Section T2? The P2 designation is confusing me a bit. Also, could you please show me my view from those seats? Thank you so much!

    • admin says:

Holly this is a promenade 2 and a P2 section but I think you are correct in thinking your seats are in section T2. Here is the view from seat 11. Enjoy the show.

  84. Cam says:

Hey admin, I’m not sure if you have had a chance but can I get the views from R1 please? Thank you!

  85. John says:

I am trying to get tickets to see john mayer in october. The best seats i found during the presale are F1 row 2 seat 1 and 7 i believe. (two single seats with 4 seats in between). I was wondering what this view is like. I was also wondering how is it possible to get better seats? Did nothing closer come up because it was just a presale and they were going to be released to during the regular public sale date or are they special, reserved seats since they are boxes and the pool circle?

    • admin says:

John these seats are right on the aisle in a small “cove” so you will not be bothered by people going up and down the main aisle. Also a good view of the big screens. As far as getting better seats at this time it probably means hitting eBay or ticket outlets like Barry’s Tickets. Hope this helps.

It’s my first time going to the Hollywood bowl and I got section f3 row 2 seat 26-30.. How much obstruction will we get?

  88. John says:

Hello. I just got tickets for Section E, row 16 seats 37 and 39 for a show in July. I’ve heard that Section E can have an obstructed view around those far left seats, but I was wondering if being in Row 16 would help at all and what the view is like? Thanks for the site!

  89. Gregory says:

Hi Admin! Thanks so much for your informative and thorough website! I was hoping you might be able to provide a seat view for Garden Box 973? I was just assigned this seat from an artist presale for a leased event; I am worried that it will be an obstructed view because it is all the way to the side! Is it obstructed? How is the view from 973? This will be my first time in a Hollywood Bowl box seat! Iโ€™m excited!

  90. Jose Hernandez says:

I have two tickets for the System of a Down show. The seats are in K3, row 15, seat numbers 31 and 33. Do you happen to have a picture of the view from these seats?

  91. Ricky says:

Hey! I got tickets to see System of a Down in July. I’m sitting in N2, second row. can’t remember the exact seat numbers but they are at the end on the left side. I’m hoping for at least a pretty decent view and I can’t find a picture from this section anywhere!

  92. Jose says:

I just bought a pair of tickets in the section D Row 5 seats 36-38 for the Atoms for peace concert

I want to know how bad is the view from there? Because they are obstructed view seats

I recently purchased two tickets for the System of A Down concert on July 29. The seats are in section K1, row 8, seats 12 & 14. How is the view, will I have any obstructions and will we be able to see the big screens? I’m wondering if I picked good seats (Availability was a bit of a problem) If possible, pictures of the seats and view of stage would be greatly appreciated (This would help me convince my wife the concert is worth going to)
Your site is amazing. Thank you so much.

    • admin says:

Hector no obstructions and you will have a great view of the big screens. The seats are wooden benches. Always good to bring or rent a cushion. Here is the view from seat 12. Hope this helps convince your wife!

I have tickets for Section D Row 16 Seat 44 – 46. It states that i have an obstructed view. How bad is it? Also, I was wondering if my seat number 46 is the last seat in the section. One last thing… how are the bench seating? Is there room for people to sit comfortably or are the seat numbers closely put together?

Could I get a photo of my seats and view?
    Thank you so much!!!

    • admin says:

    PLEASE HELP
I spent 2 hours trying and trying to get SYSTEM OF A DOWN tickets today, finally got 4 to come up in Sec E ROW 4 SEATS 41-47. It said obstructed view, I didnt want to give them up because in almost 2 hours they were literally the only tickets that were available, I decided to research the location after the fact and now i feel I am doomed and my friends are going to stick me with the tickets @ $75 each since its a bad view, can you please confirm or deny this fear of mine!!? Thanks Very Much
    Aaron

    • admin says:

Aaron here is a view from Section E Row 4 Seat 41. Section E isn’t all that bad of a section. It is as close to the stage as the Terrace Boxes. Also close to the bathrooms and concessions. There is a partial obstruction but most of the stage is visible. This view is the best of the seats as 47 will be more to the left but not that much. Hope this helps.

I have accessible seats for a show in ramp E and was wondering a couple of things. What is the seating configuration there for me (in wheelchair) and the companions, is there enough room in front for my leg to be straight out? It’s possible I might be out of the wheelchair by then. Will I be able to switch to a seat! What happens if I’m unable to make it? Will the companions still be able to attend? Thanks

    • admin says:

Hi Ty. I want to be careful because lots of policy type questions here. It is really best to call the Bowl Box Office to get the correct information. Here is a view of the ramp however.

    Hi admin,
I am SO greatful to have stumbled on your site. In a nutshell, I have a chance to purchase tickets to Diana Ross from a prominent reseller with a good reputation. The seats are in pool section A. I will not know the row or seat numbers until I reveive them. I am a big fan, and have always wanted to attend a concert at the bowl, especially to see Diana there.
I get it that all the seats in the pool are great views. This will be a major vacation to LA, with the centerpiece being the concert.
Should I take a chance? I have been in the front row for her numerous times, so I am spoiled. Thanks,

    Allan

    • admin says:

The Pool Circle seats offer some of the best views at the Bowl and because this is not a lease event the boxes should remain in place for the performance. I really believe that there are no bad seats in the Pool Circle. Here is a view from the right most seat in Section A. Very intimate. Please keep in mind that the metal folding chairs are usually set up for lease events. Diana Ross is part of the Hollywood Bowl’s Weekend Spectacular series so the boxes will be left in place. Hope this helps and enjoy the concert.

  104. Cam says:

Thank you for the response admin and my mistake, I had not seen that section. I will however return to ask for a view of my potential seats when I do buy them so thanks again!

  105. Cam says:

Hello, I just want to start by saying that this site is a very awesome resource so thank you for the views. I am looking to go to System of a Down in July so before the tix go on sale I just had a few questions I hope you could answer. First, for a metal show such as this one, will the box areas all be converted to the general admission (standing) or will they use the metal folding chairs? Secondly, and I’m not sure how easy this might be to answer but for both sections D and E, where do the good seats with no obstruction begin and end? I noticed in the pictures that some seats in those sections are really good and others are not so around where do you think is the cutoff point between good and obstructed seats? Thank you for your time, and thanks again for the site!

    • admin says:

Cam the only section I have seen move from boxes to metal chairs is the Pool Circle section right up front. The boxes in the Garden and Terrace sections are permanent. My guess would be that the chairs will still be used in the pool section however each lease event can be different.

Foe sections D and E the obstruction comes from the light/sound towers. The closer to row 1 the seats are the more obstrction you can have towards the seats on the left (for E) and right (for D). As you move further back in the sections the obstruction lessons. This is one of the most asked question on the site. I tried to show in this post but not sure i did a good job.

  106. Jill says:

This is my first time going to a concert at the Hollywood Bowl so I don’t really know much about it. I was planning on getting tickets in section M or N, but seeing pictures of the view, it doesn’t really seem that close. I was just wondering if it’s as bad as the pictures make it look because I don’t wanna be so far from the stage, but I also don’t wanna spend that much money. Thanks!

    • admin says:

Hi Jill. Sections M and N are a bit from the stage but that being said the photos are taken with an iPhone and can make the stage seem smaller. You will have uninstructed views of the stage and good views of the large screens. Hope this helps.

    • admin says:

Steve depending on the stage configuration pool circle seating can vary show to show. Here is a standard seating chart of the pool circle. Great view no matter where you are in the pool circle!

    Hello!
My wife just bought tickets for us to Andrea Bocelli June 8. They are Section Q1, Row 15, Seats 21/23. I’m trying to reassure her that we will be able to see something. Although, the last time I was in Section Q was in the ’80s and I commented at the time that the seats were closer to God than they were to the stage. (But there were no large-screens in those days.) Any chance we could see the view from our seats? I know it’s still a long way off, but the purchase wasn’t cheap–even for those seats–so it would calm our fears a bit. :-ฤฑ
    Thanks very much!

    • admin says:

Phillip you are correct in that here are not many rows behind you. I went to the seats this morning and they are in a nice location. You will have a good view of the stage and there is a large screen on that side that should keep you in the performance. Here is a photo of the view from your seats. It is hard to see the large screen because in the winter they take down the fabric however you can see on the right side of the photo the metal frame atop the ivy-covered structure. Hope this helps.

      • Philip says:

That helps a lot! I really appreciate it. I’m sure we will have a great time. The view, the general vibe and atmosphere of the Bowl and, of course, the wonderful singing of Andrea Bocelli will all make it extremely enjoyable. Thanks again!

    Hello there!

Looks like this is a great tool to use so figured I would ask my question.
I am going to purchase tickets for the Josh Groban show on 4th of July I just wanted to see which seat option is the best. My girlfriend is only 5’3 so I want to make sure she can see the concert.
    Here are my seat options:
    Section M1 Row 1
    Section M2 Row 1
    Section G2 Row 7

Please let me know what is best. I assume seats rise as they go back to elevate your view over precious section. That is why I personally think either M2 of M1 will work great.

    Thanks for all your help.

    Look forward to your response.

    • admin says:

Kevin grab the seats in either M1 or M2. The first rows of these sections are short which means less people getting up and down. Also the first rows are well above the people walking in the main aisle just in front so there will be no obstructions at all. here is the view from Section M1 Row 1 Seat 19 (middle of row). Hope this helps.

I recently purchased tickets to see Andrea Boccelli. The seats I got are in Section S Row 18 Seats 118-117. Can you tell me how the view looks from there? I been to the bowl a couple of times but have never sat in that section before. Also, are the seats next to each other?

  116. Elisabeth says:

Thanks so much for your quick reply! Now I know the tickets will make a great Christmas present.

  117. Elisabeth says:

I just bought tickets as a Christmas present for my son and his wife. I’ve never been to the Hollywood Bowl and bought “best available” on Ticketmaster. I am worried because the tickets say obstructed view. The tickets are for the Fleetwood Mac concert on May 25 and they are in section D, row 11, seats 42 and 44. Will they be able to see?

    • admin says:

Elisabeth Section D only has even numbered seats. Here is a view from from Section D Row 11 Seat 40. Your seats will be just to the right so you will have a clear view. The photo shows a large screen (set-up for Sound of Music Sing-a-long) and won’t be there for Fleetwood Mac. Happy Holidays!

Thank you soooooo much! you have been a huge help! I feel much better now. Any chance you have a pic of the view from my seating area?

  119. Nina says:

Hello! I have tkts for Barbara tomorrow night – Nov 11th. I’ve never been to a concert at the bowl. I just realized that my seats are bench seats and now I’m confused by the oldd and even seathing things. I have the following three seats: section L2, row 14, seats 103-101. Here are my questions:
    1) My assumption was that I had three seats together and one is on the aisle. Is this correct?
    2) Are the benches TRULY assigned seats or is it first come first served to the bench? Do you have
    3) do you have any idea how much room is inbetween the rows of benches? My boyfriend is 6’5″ and I was going to put him in the “aisle seat.” Also if we bring “picnic type stuff, I was wondering how much room there is to really store it at your seat.
    4) what happens if it rains? I heard the show goes on rain or shine and no umbrellas are allowed so what do we do to prepare for this?
    5) I didn’t realize parking was such an issue and now I see that it is. I saw that some of the bus passes, etc could only be purchased up to two weeks in advance. Do you have any suggestions for my parking now?

Nina let me do my best to answer your questions.

      1) These seats are together. Many of the sections at the Hollywood Bowl are either odd numbered or even numbered. Some day I am going to find out why. Seems confusing.

      2) The bench seats are assigned and have carved seat numbers in the backs. I am going to add a photo of the wood benches at the end of this post.

      3) I would say there is enough room especially since the benches are open at the bottom where you feet would go. Your picnic gear would either have to fit at your feet or under your bench. Aisle seats actually has a bit of extra room (see the photo).

      4) The show does go on rain or shine. Looks like rain is no longer in the forecast however it is best to be prepared. Bring a poncho as well as a towel to wipe the benches if they are wet. It also looks to be cold so dress warm and bring a blanket. If you get to the Bowl early enough you can rent ($0.50 each) seat cushions to make you more comfortable.

      5) Usually you can only purchase advanced bus tickets 2 weeks ahead of the show. That gives time for them to process and ship the tickets. You can purchase tickets at the lot the night of the performance. Just to be sure just give the Hollywood Bowl Box Office a call to confirm. They ask you have exact fare.

Hope this helps and enjoy the show.

Hi! I have tickets to Barbra Streisand tomorrow night- Sec P3, row 18. Seats 13 & 15. Can you tell me what kind of a view we’ll have? I see we’re pretty far over to the left… Thanks!

    • admin says:

Julie I won’t be able to get to the Bowl before your concert however here is a view from Section P3 Row 13 Seat 1. I hope this gives you an idea of the view from your seats. Enjoy the show.

Hi, I’m going to drop my parents off to watch the Streisand concert and don’t exactly where I do that and also to pick them up. Can you please advise me?
    Thank you, Jane

    • admin says:

Jane if you get there early enough they may let you up the entrance just to drop off. Picking up is a whole different story. It is crazy at the end of a show with all the people coming out at once, cars exiting, the buses and the normal Hollywood traffic. That being said there is an area on the left as you come out of the Bowl entrance. This is where car services often pick up their people. I have tried it a few times and it is not easy. You may want to call the Bowl Box Office and ask if they have other solutions. An alternative might be to drop your parents off at a Hollywood Bowl Shuttle location and let them take the bus in. Round trip is $5 per person and it makes getting in and out really easy. Hope this helps a little.

    Hi!
This site so helpful, I hope you can help me as I’ve never been to the Hollywood Bowl. I’m confused about four tickets I bought for Barbra Streisand. They say Pool C, Row 7, Seats 2,3,4,5. Are they really 7th row, center seats? May we bring our own wine & food into the Hollywood Bowl? Will this have a table or is it the folding chair format?

What a fantastic historic facility, I can’t wait to be out under the stars for the show! Any other advice for first-timers? Thanks, Kay

    • admin says:

Kay the Pool Circle offers some of the best views for a concert. For lease events at the Hollywood Bowl the boxes (in most cases) are replaced with seven rows of metal folding chairs. Unfortunately this means no table. You may bring your own food however you may not bring your own alcohol. Glass (including drinking glasses) and aluminum cans, regardless of content are not allowed. You may purchase alcohol at one of the many Hollywood Bowl shops. They will uncork it and pour it into a large Solo cup. Here is a link to the Hollywood Bowl’s official Lease Event Theater Policies page.

I know this sounds a bit restrictive but you are going to love your seats. Here are a few photos to orientate you.

hi there, i just purchased tickets to mumford and sons on Nov 10th – K3 Row 11, Seats 33, 35, and didnt notice the obstructed view notice until after i had purchased. Now wondering if the view is awful and I should try to re-sell. Would be great to get a sense of what the view is like from these seats – nervous about my purchase!

    • admin says:

Sarah here is the view from Section K3 Row 11 Seat 27. Since this section only has odd numbered seats your seat is just three to the left. You might have a slight obstruction but should not be much at all. The obstruction is actually what holds up one of the large screens so you should have a good view of that as well. Hope this helps.

We have seats to the Barbra Streisand concert on Friday Nov. 9th.
Our seats are in Section D, Row 6, Seats 22 & 24 – are they closer to the interior aisle (or left side) or exterior aisle (right side) of that section of the Bowl?
None of the seating charts I can find list the seat numbers in Section D.
We were informed there was no obstructed view, is that true and could you show me the view from these seats.
    Thanks

    • admin says:

Michael your seats are almost in the middle of Row 6. Seat 2 is on the interior aisle. Great view and no obstruction. There is a detailed seating chart on this site if you need one in the future. Enjoy the night!

    • admin says:

Matt band set-up seems to be unique with each lease performance. Seat 48 is the furthest to the right (also an aisle) and will have the most obstructed view of your seats. You still get a good view of center stage. Here is the view from Row 5 Seat 48.

I got 2 tickets to see Barbra Streisand at the Hollywood Bowl.
They are Section J1, Row 5, Seats 18 and 20 in the Super Seat Section.
I am concerned about the elevated cement structure that I believe houses sound and lights.
In all the pictures I can find I can’t tell if it obstructs the view in any way. Ticketmaster didn’t disclose anything about it being an obstructed view but the pictures I can find on line raise concerns.

Can you help me to understand what the view will be like?

    Thanks!

I was just wondering what are the last seat numbers for the outside end of the 1st row in sections D and E.
    Thanks,

    • admin says:

Jeremy the last seat in Section D Row 1 is 40. The last seat in Section E Row 1 is 39. These two aisle seats are the worst of the obstructed views from these two sections. Views get better as the rows get higher and/or seats numbers get lower. Hope this helps. Here are the views from those seats.

    Hi there!
Great site. I was wondering if you could help me choose between a few sections and seats. Section E Row 4 (no seat #s yet) or Section E Row 1 (Seats 33 & 35). Lastly, would you say it is better to be in Section E/D or one of the other middle sections? Ideally, I would like to in my own seat (no bench)..

if you can show me a picture that would be so helpful! Thank you so much!!

    • admin says:

Cheryl both Sections D & E are wooden benches. You would need to get a Terrace Box, Garden Box, Super Seat or ramp area to get an individual seat. The nice thing about Sections D & E is that you are as close to the stage as the Terrace Boxes with prices usually much less. You just need to be careful about the obstructed views. There are no many of them. The obstruction get worst as you get closer to the front and off to the ends.

Here is a view of Section E Row 1 Seat 33. You can see almost all of the stage. Section E is also close to the facilities and concessions. Generally Row 4 in section E would provide a less obstructed view but really need the seat numbers to be sure. Section D is closer to the main entrance and the busses if that is how you are getting to the Bowl. Hope all of this helps.

    Thanks!

  148. speakeasy2 says:

Hello and thanks for your help! This will be my first time at the Hollywood Bowl to see Mumford and Sons at the 11/12 show. In a hurry to buy tickets, we just opted to buy 4 tickets not near eachother, just for the sake of getting in! Our seats are: P2/Row 19/ Seat 119 – M2/Row 6/Seat 114 – L1/Row 14/Seat 1 – F3/Row 15/Seat 2.

What are our best options to sit at all near eachother or together? We originally went for it because we were told there was a grassy area we can all sit, later to find out they aren’t the closest seats. Thanks again!

    • admin says:

There really is no grassy common area inside the Bowl. Not sure I have a good suggestion for a location where the four of you can sit together. Maybe way up top if the show is not sold out. Here are the views from the seats. Hope this helps.

    Hi there,
I have a question regarding ramp seats. I was unable to purchase tickets in time for a future show at the hollywood bowl so I have to go to a site that is not ticketmaster to get seats. On the site someone has ‘ramp seats’ for sale row 2 and are seats 5,6,7 and 8. I was wondering, before I purchase these tickets are ramp seats only for patrons with disabilites and wheelchairs? I would hate to purchase these tickets and end up not being able to sit in my section. Also, they didnt say which section the ramp seats are in so are there 4 different ramp sections?
Thank you so much! This site is amazing and so helpufl!

    • admin says:

Shania you are correct that the ramp sections can be used for guest with disabilities. I also noticed that for concerts they place folding chairs in rows for increased capacity. It would be great to know which ramp it is since some of the ramps offer great views. Here is a photo of one of the ramps just to give you an idea. Each ramp can have a different size and shape. Hope this helps.

    Hey Admin,

I have tickets for terrace box 1344 for brad paisley. I bought two single seats within the same 6 person box (seats 3&6). Is that going to be an issue? From what I understand its pretty much a free for all and people are pretty understanding about seating within the same box.

    Thanks!

    • admin says:

Gmny the seats in the box are official numbered however my experience is that people are pretty easy going. Let us know how it turns out after the show. I also think that being closer to the stage like you are is worth sharing a box. I saw Brad Paisley perform at CountryJAM a few years ago and he puts on an amazing show. Have fun!

    • admin says:

Bob here is a view from row 3 (one row behind) seat 33. The seats in Section E are odd numbers only so your seat will be one more to the right (which is slightly better). I like 926 because it is a 4 person but i am worried about the back row and others you said standing right behind you and walking around. thanks. it is for Barbra Streisand a “bucket list” item for us.
    Therese

    • admin says:

Hi Therese. Both of these Garden boxes have great views. You are correct about box 723 being a 6-person box. Garden Box 926 is on the last row. My experience has been that the ushers try to keep the back row clear but there are always people getting up and going to the bathroom and concessions. For up tempo songs it was hardly noticeable. When it was a quiet piece it was a bit annoying. These are of course just my opinions. Here are the two views. I hope I gave you enough info to help make the decision.

Do the pool tix for mumford and suns go numerically from L to R or R to L? We have Pool A, row 7, seats 9 and 10 and wondering if those are all the way on the far right aisle or closer to the center. Thank you!

    • admin says:

Matt each leased concert can be set up differently but usually left to right. Regardless you will have an amazing view from any seat in the Pool section.

THANK YOU FOR THIS SITE!!!! I wish I had found this yesterday (before purchasing tickets!). We were able to check out with seats for the 11/12 Mumford and Sons concert today! Would you mind taking a quick shot from SEC P3, row 13, seats 3-1.
I am tempted to buy better seats (possibly in section H) from a Craigslist site, but wonder if it is truly worth the extra $200 per ticket. We are making quite the trek to see M&S and want the “full experience”. Thank you in advance!!!

    • admin says:

Some difference (other than the price) are that P3 is off to the left and one section further from the stage. Section H is closer and center. Section P3 are wooden benches. Section H are Super Seats (stadium seats with cup holders). Your seats in P3 are on the aisle. Here are the views. Hope this helps.

    Hi,
I have seats to the mumford and sons concert on nov. 12. How does the view from section U1, row 11, seats 22 and 23 look?
    Thanks!

  169. Brett says:

    Hi!

I just bought (2) tickets for Mumford & Sons in November and I am currently a bit worried that their view is obstructed. Could you please provide me with a picture to ease my worries?

    Section K3, row 10, Seats 3 & 1

Thank you so much for all of your help!

  170. Jason says:

Just purchased four (4) tickets to Mumford & Sons for Monday, November 12th and they’re all Section D Row 12 with “Obstructed Views”; I’m concerned because the normal seating chart only goes through the low 30s, but our tickets are 40, 42, 44, and 46! I was told this is a folding chair event where the leasing company tries to pack in as many people as possible. I wouldn’t normally be concerned but considering we are in an “Obstructed View” area with the worst obstruction… I’m thinking about dumping these tickets ๐Ÿ™

    • admin says:

Jason for some reason the seating map in certain sections shorts the seat numbers. Your seats are there and they are permanent wooden benches. Section D Row 12 Seat 46 is the furthest to the right and will have the most obstructed view. As you move to the left (your remaining seats) the obstructed view becomes less of an issue. That all being said seat 46 has a very small obstructed view of the stage. Here is a photo from seat 46. Hope this helps.

  171. Evan says:

I just bought 4 Mumford & Sons tickets for Nov 12. We are in Section D, Row 9, seats 38-44 and the tickets say they have an obstructed view. I was wondering if you had an exact view to ease our worried minds.

    Thank you

    • admin says:

Evan seat 44 is the furthest right in the row so that will have the most obstructed view. As you move left the view gets better. That being said the view from that seat has a minimal obstruction of the stage. Here is a photo of the view from seat 44. Hope this helps.

  172. jon says:

hi i bought seats in section d row 7 in seats, 46 and 48? do they have obstructed views. and second question i bout them together but why didnt they give me 46 and 47 or 47 and 48 instead of 46 and 48?

    • admin says:

John as I mentioned in your other post Section D has even numbered seats only. Some day I am going to find out what the benefit of that is. Here is the view from Section D Row 7 seat 48 (furthest to the right so worst view of your two seats). Seat 48 is also an aisle seat so you get a little extra bench space. Hope this helps.

  173. Minky says:

I just got tickets for Mumford and Son’s on Nov 10th. I wanted to know if I have good seats and what the view is like from there. We are in section F2 row 11 seats 107 & 108. This is my first time to the Hollywood Bowl. We were told to take a shuttle over.

    Thank you ๐Ÿ™‚

    • admin says:

Minky the Hollywood Bowl Shuttle is a great way to get to the Bowl. They have it down to an exact science. Easy-in and easy-out. I often used the shuttle that leaves from the LA Zoo parking lot. Just before you leave to go to the Bowl they will announce your bus number and where the bus will be after the show. Here is the view from your seats and enjoy the show!

Hey, I just purchased tickets for the Mumford show on 11/12 and have been hearing rumors of viewing obstruction for section E. Our seats are: section E, row 15, seats 1 and 3. Are we in the clear? (no pun intended) Thanks for any help in advance!

    • admin says:

Josiah you are far enough to the right in Section E that you have nothing to worry about. Here is the view from seat 1 (aisle). Enjoy the show!

  175. Evan says:

Hey! This is an amazing site. I know you have posted a ton of pictures in Section E but I was wondering how the view looks from row 4? I have seats 35 – 41 and I am worried that 39 and 41 are very obstructed. A view would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you so much!

    • admin says:

Evan Section E Row 4 Seat 41 will have the worst view of your seats since it is furthest left in the section. As you move to the right in that section the obstructed view is less. That being said doesn’t look like the view from seat 41 is all that bad. Only a small section can not be seen. Here is the view. Hope this helps.

Wow, this site is incredible! Just got two tickets for Mumford & Sons for Nov 12th, garden box 510, seats 3 & 4. From the seating chart it looks like that’s a six-seat box. I’d love to see what the view looks like from there.

  180. Cyndi says:

Hi! Cool site! We got pool b, seats 4-4 & 4-5. Is it a box? And if so, how many seats? Thanks!!

    • admin says:

Cyndi for leased concerts they remove the boxes from the Pool Section and replace them with folding chairs. Section B is just off the right of center. You will have a great view. Here is a seat chart and a photo from that section. Hope this helps.

We have seats in section G1, Row 8 for our first time at Hollywood Bowl in November. Didn’t realize that there was an audio bunker at foot of section and are concerned the view might be obstructed by the audio station. Any chance we could get an idea of view from seats 3, 4 of row 8 in section G1? Thanks for your help!

    • admin says:

Katy the bunker is well below eyesight. Your seats are Super Seats vs. the wooden benches. Here is the view from your seats.

  184. Celeste Rose says:

    Hi there,
I will be going to Mumford and Sons in november and i was wondering how the view from terrace box 1851 was? Thank you verrrrry much!

  185. Matt says:

Not a question, just a comment: Well done! This is a terrific website. The care you take in fielding questions and, when appropriate, posting photos in response to questions, is really wonderful. I’m flying from Munich to LA in November to see the Streisand concert and, having never been to the bowl, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your efforts herein. I can’t wait to see all this in person and having the benefit of this information, I will arrive confident about the arrangements and facilities. Thanks very much from someone very far away! Consider yourselves hugged!

  187. Hayley says:

Can you tell me how obstructed Section E row 8 seats 13-19 are? Thank you so much!

    • admin says:

Hayley Section E Row 8 Seat 19 is the furthest to the lest and will be the seat with the most obstructed view. That being said I would you have zero obstruction and section E is close to the bathrooms! Here is the view. Enjoy your show.

  188. James says:

I was wondering if more than 4 people are allowed in the terrace boxes designated for 4 people?

  189. David says:

Hi there, my sister and I have seats for tonight’s Florence + The Machine show. Section E, row 3 seats 29 and 31. I’m very worried that we will have an obstruction. Do you have an exact view?

    Thanks so much in advance.

    • admin says:

David I have a view from Section E one seat to the left (seat 33). Your view will be slightly better. Either way I think you have a great view of the stage. Enjoy the show.

    and
    N1 – 9 – 34 & 36

Looks like the N1s are best. Do you agree?
    Are both sets on aisles?

    • admin says:

Ed I agree that the seats in section N1 are the better of the sets. The seats in section P1 are on the aisle. The seats in section N1 are one in from the end. Here are views from both sets of seats. Enjoy the show!

  196. Christine says:

I posted last week but forgot to put the row #…
I just bought 2 tickets to see Mumford and Sons on Nov. 10th! However, the 2 seats are in section E, row 8, seats 45 & 47. These also came with the label of obstructed view, and I dont even see seats 45 and 47 on any of the seating charts. Now Iโ€™m worrying, how obstructed are these seats?? I dont want to pay all that money to stare at a green wall =/

    Help me out admin! Thanks

I have tickets for Jason Mraz for Oct. 5th. Section J2 row 8 seats 37 and 39. The seating chart I found it looks like the seats only go 1 – 27?? How many seats are in row 8?

    Thank you!!

    • admin says:

Jodi it is always curious to me why the seating charts don’t always have the correct end seat numbers. Seat 39 is at the end of the row so you have an aisle seat which offers a bit more room! Here is the view from your seats. Have a great time.

    Hello!
I’ll be attending a show in a few weeks! Our seats are somewhere in P2. What is the view like from there? Also we are taking the shuttle in. good idea? What is in the area to do before the show?

    • admin says:

Amanda the shuttle is a great idea. Easy in and easy out. Not much in the area but think about packing a picnic dinner and enjoy dinning at the bowl before the show. There are many picnic areas right around the bowl. Here is the Hollywood Bowl’s official picnicking page. Also here is a view from section P2. Hope this helps.

Thanks for this great website! I’m worried about an obstucted view for tickets I just bought for the Mumford concert. The seats are in K3 row 7, seats 33 and 35 – can you show me how obstructed our view will be? Thanks so much!

  202. judy says:

Hi, first of all i think this is great for those that never been to the hollywood bowl and not sure what to expect.
I have tickets for jazon mraz 10/5 pool E row 6. From ticket master it looked like like pool E doesn’t have row 1 and 2, does that mean i’m 4 rows from the stage. also i’m a little worried about being too far on the side, do you have a picture of view to the stage? thanks.

    • admin says:

Judy when there is a leased event at the Hollywood Bowl they replace the boxes in the Pool Section with folding chairs. The configuration can be slightly different for each concert so it it hard to tell the exact rows. The view however will be great no matter where you are in the Pool section especially since the stage is not all that wide. Here id a view from the left side of the Pool Section. Enjoy the show.

After 6 hours of bidding and surfing the web, I finally got a good deal on Mumford and Son’s live concert

Trying to decide which pair of seats we should hold on to for an upcoming show. We got Section N1 Row 19 seats 22-24. We were happy with these as it’s obviously dead center….but then saw a pair that became available down in Section E Row 3 seats 33-35 so jumped at the chance to be much closer to the stage. But didnt see that they were obstructed until it was too late! Are these seats in E ok?

  208. Alysha says:

What a great site! Just got tix for Mumford & Sons, Sec. D, row 14, seats 40-46. I see some pics up there from row 15, but is there a way to get a pic from row 14, seat 46? My wife and I are going with another couple and I’m curious how bad my view will be from seat 46. ๐Ÿ˜‰
    Thanks!

    • admin says:

John seat 46 is on the aisle and will have the worst view of seats 40, 42, 44 and 46. That being said not too bad at all. Section E and D can offer some reasonable priced seats with comparable views of the Terrace boxes.

Got tickets to see Mumford & Sons on November 10th, Terrace Box 1324 seats 3 & 4. I’m a little on the short side (4’10”), so I’m curious as to what kinda view I’ll have from this section.

    • admin says:

Amanda here is a view from your box. As far as being short you should be fine depending on how tall the other two people in the box are and if they wouldn’t let you sit in front. You can also rent a seat cushion ($0.50) two increase your height and comfort. Enjoy the show!

    • admin says:

Hudson for some reason the Hollywood Bowl mislabeled the end of the benches in section E. Those seats will be there. You didn’t mention in your post which row your seats were in. Let me know and I can get you a photo of the view. The row will dictate how much of an obstruction you will have.

  213. Paula says:

Hi, I just bought tics for Mumford & Sons – best available were Sec E Row 9 45-47. I was having such a hard time getting through for tickets I accepted these. 215. Allen says:

    This site is awesome!
I just bought some tickets to see Mumford and Sons at the Hollywood bowl November 10th. My seats are N3 row 20 seats 13-15, We also have M1 row 9 seats 39-41. The problem is that we have 3 people in our group that want to sit together. Do you know of any way that the 3 of us can sit together? Is there enough room to squeeze 3 people into 2 seats? or is that not allowed? How easy is it to trade? Also do you know which set of seats are better?
    Thanks!

    • admin says:

Hi Allen. It seems that swapping seats at any concert might be tricky and the Bowl is no exception. You can try calling the Hollywood Box Office but not sure they will have any answers for you. As far as which seats are better I think the views are comparable. The seats in M1 however are aisle seats and offer a little extra room on the end (if that is important to you). here are the views from the two sets of seats. Enjoy the show.

  220. Bert says:

Hi, I have 2 tix for Mumford and Sons November 10th, in the Terrace Boxes section Box 1647 – 3 & 4, I see where they are on the map but can you please provide a the view of the stage?
Is there a pick nick table in the box and do you know if you can bring food and drinks for this event?
    Thanks a lot in advance.
    Bert

    • admin says:

Bert there are two folding tables in the box that attach to the sides. There are folks there running around who will help you set them up (and level them) and take them down before the concert starts. You can bring your own food however because this is a leased event there are special theater policies that pertains to alcohol, glass and aluminum containers no matter what liquid they hold. I’ve included a link in the post. Here is your view.

  224. SCott says:

I just purchased tickets for Barbra Streisand Section M2, row 12 seats 117-116. Are these seats on the aisle? Thanks

  225. Stephanie says:

    Hi Admin,

I have found tickets for Barbra Streisand for the 9th and the 11th even though when I call the HB box office I am told the 9th is sold out and the tickets for the 11th are not yet on sale. Is the Los Angeles Tickets site reliable? overpriced? Should I wait to get them directly through the HB Box office or ticketmaster? THANKS!

    • admin says:

Stephanie I have no experience with Los Angeles Tickets. The Hollywood Bowl Box Office will offer tickets at face value (cheapest) however for popular converts probably not the best seats unless you “camp out” the day they go on sale. After market outlets usually offer great seats but at a premium…sometimes crazy expensive. I have used Barry’s Tickets and eBay to grab some good seats in the past and have had good experiences with both. Hope this helps.

  226. Alex says:

I just purchased tickets in section E row 11 seats 27 and 29 I was reading peoples comments about an obstructed view from that section. I was just wondering if I could get a picture of the view from my seats. I would appreciate it. Thank you!

  227. Matt says:

I am looking to purchase tickets for the Brad Paisley concert but the company that I would get then from said that the tickets are separate. They are both in Pool C Row 5. If I got these would I still be able to sit with my guest? I would hate for us to be separated for the evening. If possible could someone post pictures of these seats and the view from here, Pool E Row 6, and the Terrace boxes 1660 seats 5&6. I know I’m asking a lot but I just want everything to work out right. Much appreciated!

    • admin says:

Matt here is a view of the typical set up of the folding chairs used for a leased event at the Hollywood Bowl and a photo of the view. The pool section offers some great views however unless you find some extremely easy going people it might be hard to have everyone change seats so you and your guest can sit together. I guess it depends on how separated your seats are. There is also a view from box 1647 which should give you a pretty good idea of the distance to the stage from box 1660 which is a 6 person box. Hope this helps you out.

Would anyone be able to provide pictures of Terrace Boxes Row 1660 seats 5 and 6 with the view of the stage?

  229. Cody says:

I recently purchased two sepadate tickets online from a company for the Brad Paisley concert both in Pool C Row 5. The company told me that the tickets for the seats might not be together and I don’t want the evening to be ruined. Will I still be able to sit with my guest? Could you also post pictures from here and Pool E row 5? Thank you!

    • admin says:

Cody not sure I can answer if you will be able to site with your guest. I guess it might depend how far away the seats are and how understanding the people are in the other seats. Hope things work out. As far as the view the Pool Section will get you the closest to the stage. here is a view from section E.

  230. Keith says:

Hi, I just bought tickets for the Mumford & Sons show in November. I picked best available seats and got Section E, Row 9 seats 29 and 31. I’m a little nervous because I heard Section E has some obstructed views. Are my seat ok or should I try to get different ones?

    • admin says:

Keith looks like you have nothing to worry about. here is the view from your setas. Enjoy the show!

        Hello Admin,
Just bought some tickets to the Mumford and Sons concert. F3 row 12 seats 30-36? What are the views from those seats? It states obstructed view? Thanks!

  231. Holly says:

K3 row1, seat 21 is my very expensive ticket for Streisand concert. Will I be disappointed by obstructed view.

  232. Linda Naticchioni says:

Barbra tickets – K3, row 5, seats 17-19. Please show me your view. Thanks!

  233. Sherri Cannon says:

I purchased 2 single tickets to the Barbara Streisand concert; sec L2 row 16 seat 111 and sec L3 row 9 seat 24……are either of these obstructed views? Reading some of the post I am concerned my tickets might not have indicated obstructed view and they say behind boxes

    • Sherri Cannon says:

Why does my question still say “waiting moderation” ?

      • admin says:

Sherri I went to the Bowl last week and totally missed your post. Sorry. I will have a view from your seats this Saturday. Again sorry for missing the post.

    • admin says:

I’ve never been to the Hollywood Bowl and I just purchased tickets for 11/9 Streisand concert, but best available had obstructed views. How obstructed is the view from Sec E Row 12 seats 43 & 45? Will we at least be able to see the screen. I heard the sound may be too loud or muffled, is that true. Thanks

    • admin says:

Teresa as obstructed views go yours will be minimal. You will have a great view of the show. here is your view.

  235. Michael Danahy says:

Great site! I got a ticket for Streisand at the BO today. K1, Row 5, Seat 16. The guy told me they were “great” seats – as they should be at that price. What do you think? And is it a chair or a bench? Again, your site is awesome.

    Michael

  236. Patti Millson says:

My seats for Streisand: F3 row 5 seats 40-42. Did not say obstructed view. Do you have a photo from these seats?

    • admin says:

Patti I am surprised the tickets did not say obstructed view. Here is the view from F3 Row 5 Seat 42. Not the greatest view of the stage or large screen. If you confirm the seat location again I can re-check just to be sure.

  237. Nick says:

I may have asked this question before, but don’t believe I received a response. I have been to the bowl many times and have sat in the pool circle, but for the upcoming Totally 80s, I have 8 tickets for the pool circle, which are all together, but it is pool d, row, 3, seats 7 thru 14. When calling the box office, they said there will be tables, so my question is, pool d is what side, left or right and how can they seat 8 together with a table?

    • admin says:

Nick the boxes are removed and replaced with folding chairs. The person at the Box Office must have been mistaken. I was there this morning and the folding chairs are all set up ready for tonight. I am going tonight as well. Looking forward to a great time. I took this photo this morning. Enjoy!

  238. Rhonda Maine says:

At which section do the bench seats start? I’m looking to get tickets to the Brad Paisley concert, but I can’t afford the $200 tickets. However, I don’t really want to share a bench with strangers either!

    • admin says:

Rhonda sections D & E are bench seats. These sections are the closest bench seats to the stage. The next section up (K1, K2, K3, J2, G2, F1, F2 and F3) are also bench seats. The middle three sections (J1, H and G1) are not benches but individual stadium seats with cup holders. These are called Super Seats. Hope this helps.

  239. Chris Major says:

I am thinking of secondary market for Neil Young. Can you show me pool c row 6,

    • admin says:

Chris a bit hard to know exactly only because according to the Hollywood Bowl Box Office the concert promoter gets a say in the Pool Circle configuration (number of sections, number of rows, etc). That being said there is really not a bad seat in the Pool Section. You are so close to the main stage. Here are views from the Pool Section. This is the furthest you could be from the stage.

    • admin says:

Chris I think you will be OK with the view. The large screen is up for a show tonight and will not be there for Jason Mraz. That small stage in front of the screen will not be there either. These seats are on the aisle. Enjoy the show!

Your site is the best, Thank You!!!

      • admin says:

Christy I personally think the view is great and not too far to the right. Garden Box 509 looks like just a regular box with out a back to accommodate wheel chairs. It is also right on the aisle. Here is a view from your seats and a shot of the box itself. Have fun!

  247. Brett Greenstein says:

Great website. I love how you get the best REAL pictures of the bowl. The seating chart on the HB website is very deceiving and in need of some updating.

I just got tickets to Barbra Streisand on Nov 9. I got partial view tickets in Section E, Row 7, Seats 41-47. Will we be able to see her? Those were the best seats I could find on Ticketmaster that weren’t out of this world expensive.

Thinking of reselling if we really can’t see her. Any photos of those seats in that section?

    • admin says:

Brett here are views from the worst view of the seats you have (47) and the best view of the seats you have (41). Seat 47 is on the aisle. The screen and small stage in front of the screen will not be there for Barbara. I do not think the view is that bad but what makes Section E great is that you get close for a reasonable price. Hope these photos help.

    • admin says:

Amy your view looks to be fine…even better than fine. You are correct about the green structures. They hold the large screens and spots for the main stage. Here is your view. Enjoy Barbara!

  252. Arthur says:

Hi, just bought one ticket for Florence + the Machine on September 8th, Pool circle C Row 3. The website I bought them (vividseats.com) displayed the pool A and E on the sides of the stage, B and D closer to the center and C on the very center. I thought that my ticket was for the 3rd row of the center of the stage but from what I can see in this chart the ”section” 3 of Pool C comes behind section A and B and is really not in the center. Can you explain to me where is my seat?

    Thank you.

    • admin says:

Raul I think being an entire section closer, even off to the side, is better in this case. Here are the two views. You didn’t mention which seats so I just took the shots from the middle of the row. Hope these help.

In your opinion which seats would you go with?
    thanks again

Hi there! I want to get tickets to Neil Young & Crazy Horse!
I keep wavering back and forth between getting closer seats that are partially obstructed or of getting a better angle but farther away. Can you show me how far section R2 row 5 looks and/or T2 row 5. I am looking to get either 3 or 4 seats!

  260. Michael Mehlman says:

Sorry, disregard my previous inquiry. I was able to purchase 2 tickets from hollywood bowl via Ticket Master on line; second level terrace box, house left center row 1256 seats 1 & 2. The price seems WAY below what others are selling compairable seats for. Is this normal? How are these seats? Anyway thanks for your time Mike

    • admin says:

Mike Terrace Box 1256 has a great view. Not sure why these tickets were priced as they were. Might be because it is a 4-person box and it is harder to sell 2 of 4. Here is a view from your box. Enjoy your show.

  261. Sean says:

Hey sorry again!! we lost the auction for the garden box seats but we ended up in box 1663! could we see the view pleasE?

  262. Katie Charles says:

Oh this is so helpful! We have tickets for Dave Matthews tomorrow night. Our first time to Hollywood Bowl. We are in Super Seats Section H row 21… I’m worried this is really far back. What do you think of these particular seats? And do you know if when we get there if we can upgrade to better seats? We bought tickets through an agency.

    • admin says:

Katie how far back from the stage is so subjective that I am careful to give my opinion. Section H is closer to the from than the back. The seats are center and have good views of the large screens. The Super Seats are more like stadium seating and have cup holders. You can try going to the box office before you enter the venue and ask if any last minute tickets came free. Here is a photo of your view and Super Seats. Enjoy DM!

Hey I was wondering how obstructed section D row 5 seats 36 and 38 would be for DMB on Wednesday?

  264. David says:

Was looking at getting tickets to the Dylan concert at the bowl. Is Sec. D Seats 36 & 38 too far over to see the stage. I know that if you get too far down you lose part of the stage.

    • admin says:

David section D is a great section. In line with some of the box seats…just further off to the right. Some seats do have a partial obstruction. The closer you are to row one the more obstruction you have for seats 26 and 38. As the rows get high the obstruction is less. You didn’t list a row number so it is hard to know.

      • David says:

Thanks! It’s was row 5 Sec D seats 36 & 38. The post below had the same seats so I think I’ll be great.

        Thanks again!

  265. jay says:

Hey there! I’m deciding whether I should buy some tickets for Florence and The Machine since the section E has an obstructed view. The tickets are for row one so I’d like to see a picture of the outermost seats in that section please.

    • admin says:

Jay Section E Row 1 Seat 39 is the worst obstructed view of that section. It is the closest and the most left seat to the green structure. As you either go further back and/or to the right the obstruction is less. Here is a view of E-1-39.

Hello! I just purchased two tickets for my boyfriend and I for the Dave Matthews Band concert (one of his favorite bands, well, ever) on Wednesday, the 12th. I just realized that K3 had obstructed view seating. Is there any possible way to find out if the seats I purchased have an obstructed view? If so, I’ll be so disappointed, but I guess I shoudld have figured it out beforehand. Our tickets are in K3… row 11, seats 9 & 11. Thank you for your time.

  268. Andrea Pfeiffer says:

I have what I think are good seats to DMB next week but was hoping you could provide a vantage point for Garden 472 seats 1 and 2. Isn’t this a picnic type box? and is it 4 or 6 folding chairs in the box. Also can we bring our food and wine into the box to eat?
    Thanks

    • admin says:

Andrea Box 472 is a 4-person box in the Garden section. The box is off to the side but will still give you a great view of the stage. It is indeed a picnic box so bring your own meal, get there early and enjoy dinner while the sun sets. Because the performance you are attending is a lease event there are different rules for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. You can not bring your own alcohol and no bottles for non-alcoholic beverages. Check out the Hollywood Bowl Lease Event page for all the details.

    • admin says:

Mayra first off both locations you are considering will be aisle seats… which is nice. I am sure you can see from the map that K2 is off to the left but closer to the stage. I like closer but it is really a personal preference. Here are the two views. Hope this helps you decide.

  271. Audi says:

First of all, let me just say how handy your website is; however, I’ve been looking all around your page to make sure my question is not answered. I went on the Hollywood Bowl website to look at my view of my seating, but strangely enough, I’m not convinced that I will be seeing the show in that perspective. My boyfriend and I bought tickets to Wilco a months ago, we were debating whether we got good tickets or not, but they were the last few pairs of garden tickets. We got placed in section 110. Do you think that’s a good perspective to watch the concert, is there an obstructed view, how will sound affect this position. To me it seems to be too much in the aisle to the far right of the bowl. Would you recommend me optioning to trade my tickets? This will be a first experience for me in the garden boxes, and I’m looking forward to it, but I do not want to sacrifice viewing pleasures.

    • admin says:

Audi I think Garden Box 110 is a great box. It might night be dead-center but you are very close to the stage and it is on the aisle. I personally do not mind being off to the side. I’ve had seats on both far-left and far-right. Here is a view to help you decide if the box is for you. Enjoy Wilco!

Hello, I was just surprised with tickets to the Go-Go’s Sept 29th……seats are J2 Row 12, whats the view?? I’ve gone thru all your shots of the Bowl but haven’t seen a clear view of this section. Also, the order summary doesn’t specify which seat #’s we have, do we wait for the tickets to come in the mail to find out what seats we have? Thanks!

    • admin says:

Michelle I am not sure where you purchased the tickets however when you buy them from the Hollywood Bowl Box Office you get the seat numbers right away. That being said any seats section J2 Row 12 will offer a good view. Here is a photo of the view from the middle of the row. I’m going to the 80s Night too!

  273. jameela says:

Hi! It’s my first time to the bowl- I’m going to go to the Tchaikovsky Spectacular on Friday and I wanted to know if the view is better from L1, Row 16, Seats 47 and 49 OR F2, Row 13, Seats 101 and 102. Also, it’s a little weird that seats that are together are usually one number apart but in this case they’re sequential, isn’t it?

    • admin says:

Jameela I think you will be happy with the view from either location. I think for performances that include fireworks the view further back is a bit more spectacular. For some reason many section have odd numbered seats and other sections have even numbered seats. I know there must be a reason but it is almost the number one question that I get. Enjoy the show tonight!

  274. Janel says:

My friend has a ticket that he wants to sell me for Neil Young. Sec. D row 10 seat 32. It says obstructed view. Do you have a picture from that seat? I don’t want to pay $100.00 if I can’t see the stage clearly..thanks

Hi โ€“ Iโ€™m looking to buy tickets to see BB King, but there arenโ€™t many decent tickets left (I need 2). So Iโ€™m considering either one of these 2 options below, but am concerned that one of them says โ€œobstructed viewโ€. How bad is the obstruction? Can you send me a pic to show the view from those seats?
    Section D, row 1, seats 40 + 38
    OR
    Section F3, row 44, seats 24 + 22

    • admin says:

Mari looks like the seats in section D have a partial obstructed view. Doesn’t seem that much of the stage however is out of view. F3 is an entire section back however I could not find row 44. Typo? Hope this photo of the view from section D helps you make your decsion.

  277. Tara Finn says:

I recently purchased section E rows 12 & 13 seats seats 43 & 45 for Jason Mraz on October 5th…my seat say obstructed view, I was wondering if you could get pics fr my seats to see what the view is?!?!

    Thanks,
    Tara

  278. Barbara says:

I just purchased tickets to see Peter Gabriel in October for my husbands 50th birthday. They are super good seats (Garden Box 152, seats 5 and 6). I have been to the Bowl many times over the years but have not been in a box that holds 6 people. When I asked, I was told that seats in the boxes are not numbered and are on a first come first serve basis. Can you please confirm if in fact this is the case?
I will be so upset to have spent so much and not be able to sit next to my husband. Thanks-

    • admin says:

Barbara Garden Box 152 are great seats. I am interested in who told you the seats in the box are not numbered. If it was the Hollywood Bowl Box Office then I would say its true. Otherwise I would refer to the Hollywood Bowl web site. If you look in the “Where will I sit?” Hollywood Bowl site page (scroll down on that page to the correct section) you can see they do indeed number the seats.

That being said I have seen people be very gracious when sharing a box. Couples often sit across the table when dining and then everyone moves so they can be side-by-side. Really depends who the other four folks are. The ushers will know which seats in the box are 5 and 6.

  279. Meowanie says:

I’m seeing Bob Dylan. I got cheap seats. I’m wondering if it’s a mistake to sit in the front row of a section? Section R1, Row 1, seats 17 -15. This page is awesome and it rules!

    • admin says:

Meowanie I think the first row in section R1 will be just fine. You are elevated by the walkway in front. So elevated that you should not even see heads pass by as well as a hedge in front. Here is a photo of the view from your seats. Enjoy Dylan.

  280. Mark Logan says:

Love your site! Going to Peter Gabriel and scored Section H, row 14 seats 105 and 106…any chance of a pic? Also, this will be first time to the bowl…we plan to bring a picnic basket and do it right…suggestion for “best place” to put down our blanket before the show? Thank YOU!!!

    • admin says:

Mark section H are Super Seats instead of benches. Super Seats are more like stadium seating with a cup holder. Here is a photo of the seat type and a photo of the view from your seats. I must admit I don’t usually picnic at the bowl so I am no expert. There are 15 picnic areas. Some are on the paved walk ways, some are on the grass areas and even some have picnic tables. They are first come first served. Here is a map of the picnic areas. I will take a look to see which areas might offer the best for a picnic blanket.

  281. Sean says:

Hey, I was wondering what the view from box 341 and 162 are? and what they look like?

Thanks so much!!! we really appreciate it!!!

    • admin says:

Sean both of these boxes will make for a great night. Not sure if you are trying to decide between the two or if you have both. It really comes down to a matter of personal preference. Garden Box 341 is more center but a tad further back. Garden Box 162 is more off to the left but closer to the stage. Box 341 is also an aisle box so people only on one side. I hope these photos of the views help you make a choice … if you have one to make ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hello,
I just purchased tickets in section E row 13 sets 5-ll. Will this be obstructed view? Thanks!

  283. Molly says:

I am going to see Florence +the machine Monday October 8. We are in section L1. Row7… Seats 37 and 39. Anyway we could get a pic of this view?? Is this too far back to see or hear anything? Also, this site is so rad!!

    • admin says:

Molly here is a goto of the view. Good view of the stage and the large screens. They are also on the aisle.

  284. Cathy says:

This site is such a great resource! I’m thinking of buying tickets for the Jason Mraz concert and I’m wondering how far Section Q1, row 13, seats 53 and 55 are. A picture of the vantage point from there would be much appreciated. I’m worried that we’ll be too far away to see anything. Thanks!

    • admin says:

Cathy section Q is towards the top of the Hollywood Bowl. While it is a distance from the stage people sit there all the time and have a great experience. You do get a good view of the stage and the large screens. Here is a photo of the view from the seats. I hope this helps you make your decision.

  285. Briana Cristobal says:

Hi, I appreciate all the help

I am about to purchase some tickets, My bf loves BB king and i would like to surprise him

anyway My tickets are Section E row 19 seat 7,9

What will be a better view?
The M1, m2 sections or the section e section

    thank you so much

If you can upload a picture i would appreciate it even further.

    • admin says:

Briana the section E seats are more off to the side but much much closer to the stage. being off to the side does not bother me as long as it is a good view. Below are two photos showing the view from the section E seats and the middle of section M1 and M2 about halfway up the section (since there were no seat numbers specified. Hope this helps.

  287. Jerry Behnke says:

Sec. E Roe 3 seats xy are their such seats. How obstructed are they. Thanks

    • admin says:

Jerry I had never heard of seats “xy”. I went to the Bowl to verify. Section E Row 3 starts at seat 1 and goes to seat 41 (odd numbered only). I would call the Hollywood Bowl Box Office to confirm.

  288. Trent Hancock says:

I just bought two tickets for the dave matthews show and I’m worried that the view might be obstructed now that I look at the seating charts! I’m in Section D row 1 seats 32 and 34. Any possible way to see a photo? Thanks!

  289. Mike G says:

We got tickets for the Sept 12th DMB concert. Only thing our seat location says is section L1 row 2 for all 4 tickets purchased. Seems kind of far back so was wondering what the view is from there? Also, are we to assume that its just a free for all in that section and row since now seat number is given? Thanks

    • admin says:

Mike I have never heard of tickets not having the exact bench number on it but I do not know everything ๐Ÿ™‚ Maybe give the Hollywood Box Office a call. The seats are a bit back but the view is good and you get a good view of the large screens. This is a short row. I like these short rows because less people to bother when getting in and out. Row 2 starts seat 1 and goes through seat 21 for odd numbers only (So seat 1, 3, 5, 7, etc).

Here is a photo of the view from the middle of the row and a photo of the row itself. Enjoy the show.

      • Mike G says:

Thanks for the response. I appreciate it. I think once we receive the tickets, it will say on there what seat numbers we have. Row 2 will be good since we will only have one row in front of us.

  290. Kelli says:

    Hi,

I just bought tickets to the DMB concert Sept. 12 and this will be my first time at the Bowl. Any info on our seats (obstructed view, etc)? Thanks in advance.
    section SEC P2, row 18, seats 110-109

Kelli the view looks pretty good to the stage and the large screens. Here is the view from your seats. Enjoy the show.

  291. Alysha says:

So I am looking at my tickets I purchased a few months ago for Florence in October and it says Section E row 12 seats 43 and 45….but in the seating chart, it stops at 31. Are my seat actually there, and is my view going to be obstructed fully?

    • admin says:

Alysha I really have no idea why the seats at the end of the map do not match the actual row. Wish they would fix that. Looks like you have a pretty clear view of the stage. Here is a photo of the view from your seats. Enjoy the show.

  292. JH says:

Thanks for the great site! Really helpful for someone who hasn’t seen a show at the bowl yet. Just got tickets for Dave Matthews Band on 9/12 in Sec. D Row 8 seats 38-40. I know they could be obstructed somewhat but based on the other pics you have on here I decided to take a chance to try to get down low. Do you know (or have pics) if we are far back enough in D (row 8) and in off the aisle enough (seats 38/40) that we wont be too obstructed? A pic would be great if you have it. Thanks!!

    • admin says:

JH I think the seats will do you well for Dave Matthews. They are close and the obstruction is minimal if really at all. Here a view from the seats. Enjoy the show.

      • JH says:

Looks like we are good. Thank you very much for the response. Will definitely recommend your site to anyone needing bowl info. Great site!

  293. Robert Zimmerman says:

Hi, thanks for all the great info on seating. Just pulled the trigger on seats for Dylan in late October, wondering if there’s any obstructions for Section D/Row19/Seats 18&20?

  294. Andrew says:

Hi there, can we see a pic of how much obstruction there is for
    Sec F3
    Row 7
    Seats 32-36?

Also will the screens be used for the JohnWilliams on the 31st/1st?

    Thanks!

    • admin says:

Andrew I think you will have no problem seeing John Williams on the stage. Clips of the movies which feature John Williams’ music will be played on the screens throughout the performance. The big screen is also directly above you. Want to be with the in crowd? Bring a light saber for when Star Wars music is played. You will be amazed. Here is a photo of the view from seat 34.

  295. DMBFAN!!! says:

    Hey!
First of all this is a great site!!!!

Second I am in section H row 11 not sure what specific seats but that would be great to see the view from the section! We are wondering if we need to try and do the ticketmaster drop or not?! THANKS!!

    • admin says:

These are Super Seats and not benches. Since you are not sure what the seats were I just took a photo of the view from the middle of the row (seat 108). Hope this helps.

  296. David Simmons says:

    Hello,
First of all, great website. Thanks for being here. We have Dave Matthews tix on Sept 12
sec D row 17 seats 30 and 32. Are we ok for obstacles?
    Thanks again
    David

  297. Erin says:

Hi there, I am looking to buy Juanes tickets for my family (eleven total), including my elderly mother in law. I don’t want her to walk up a lot of stairs and I can’t remember if the escalators go to each section. I’m thinking of getting seats in M1 rows 21 or 22, or in L3 in row 1. Do you think L3 would be better?
    Thanks!

    • admin says:

Erin speak with the Hollywood Bowl Box Office. They will be super helpful at getting your mother-in-law to any section you have. I am also going to see Juanes. Can not wait!

  298. frederic says:

Hi.Your post is awesome.I hope you can help me.I got tickets for Jason Mraz.It says that it’s obstructed view, but didn’t really seems like on the map. It’s K, row 4,seats 29-27.
Do you have a view from there.Thanx!

  299. Christine says:

Hi. Thanks for info on seats. Curious to know why the large screens were not on during Aerosmith ?? It would have really been so much better and also great to see Johnny Depp up close when he surprised everyone by coming on stage. We were back pretty far in P rows. Sound was great as always!

  300. Jen says:

I bought tickets for section K2 row 20 seats 116-115. How is the view? Is it too off center and are the bench seats uncomfortable …..not that i will be sitting much for Dave Matthews on Sept 12th:)

  301. ellen says:

    Hi,

I’m planning to purchase tickets to the Neil Young show on oct17th, but was wondering which section would be a better buy. Section E or Section J2? I would prefer to be closer to the stage but I’m afraid of an obstructed view in section E and J2 just seems like a good choice because its close to center.

    Thankss!

    • admin says:

Ellen do you know which row and seats you would be getting? The obstruction is really the first several rows of section E and the seats off to the extreme left of these rows. If you look at a few of the other posts you will see some photos of views from various Section E rows and seats.

  302. molly says:

hi . i want to buy tickets for the hill / lawn section so i can sit on the ground on a blanket. where is that?

    • admin says:

Molly as far as I know there are no “lawn seats” at the Hollywood Bowl. There are however picnic areas outside the Bowl that people dine at before the show. Here is a link to the Hollywood Bowl’s site explaining the picnic areas.

  303. Sandy says:

I have seats for one of the upcoming summer concert series; section H, Row 8, seats 107 and 108. Good seats I believe, am I correct in assuming that these seats are center of the row? Any image that I can see?
    Thanks! Your website rocks!

    • admin says:

Sandy you are correct. These are in the middle of the row and are good seats. They are Super Seats and not bench seats. Here is an view from your seats.

Hollywood Bowl Section H Row 8 Seats 107 and 108

      • sandy says:

Thank you for the image. One other question for you, I know that I can bring a bottle of wine for these summer series concerts, what about beer?

        • admin says:

Sandy if the show is a LA Phil sponsored show like the Summer Series Concerts then you are allowed to bring your own alcohol in to the Bowl. If the show is a leased event like John Mayer then you must purchase your alcohol at one of the Bowl stores.

  304. Alexander says:

Hello, and thanks for a great web site! I wish I had found this site earlier.
Can you please comment on the stage view from Section K3, Row 4, Seats 21, 19, 17? Do these have an obstruction from the structure in Section E?

    • admin says:

Alexander here is a shot from the seats. I think you are in the clear. Hope this helps.

Great! Thank you so much for taking the photo. I look forward to be there for the Bob Dylan & Mark Knopfler show in October.

  305. RICK LAKE says:

Hi, I have garden box 871 seats 1,2 and 3. I have never had a box seat here, can you tell me anything about it as to how many seats per box, table and is 871 have a good sight line?
    Sincerley
    Rick

    • admin says:

Rick Box 871 is a 4-person box in the Garden Section. You will have a great view. It is on the end on an inside aisle. I like end boxes especially when they are on an inside row because there is much less traffic. There are two folding tables in the box that attach to the side walls of the box. When you get there one of the Hollywood Bowl volunteers will be more than happy to set them up for you. If you are so incline tip them a few dollars. Also on your way to the box grab a few of the complimentary green trash bags. Enjoy the show.

      • RICK LAKE says:

Hi, great site and thank you for your prior answer. I asked this question before but cant find the answer or where i asked it, so forgive me for asking again. My son will be riding his motorcycle and meeting us there (we will be taking the shuttle from the zoo), is there a motorcycle area for him to park in and if so where is it?
        Sincerely

  306. Mark says:

Whoops, cancel that request. I just noticed that you already took a pic that would answer my question. Thanks!

  307. Susan says:

    Hi
I’m considering getting tickets for John Williams in super seats J1 row 20 seats 6-12. Do you ave a POV? Thanks!

  308. Keith Gill says:

Would like to get tickets for the Jason Mraz show on 10-05-12 but wanted to see how much of an obstruction the view would be in section E Row 9 Seat 37,39. Hope you can help?! Thank you!

  309. les white says:

I want to go to neil young, BUT I WANT TO STAND AND DANCE. Is that allowed in the pool circle? Back of the bowl? where? thanks! advice please, tickets are selling out.

    • admin says:

Les this is a tricky one. I’ve been to concerts where everyone is up and dancing. I’ve also been to concerts where ushers have asked you to sit down because the folks behind us complained. I think it has more to do with the show and the kind of people it draws. It seems from my experiences they try and keep the aisles clear if possible.

  310. Dani says:

I got tickets to the Bob Dylan concert, could I see section M1, row 5, seats 7 & 9? Thanks!

  311. Christine says:

Hi. We have tickets in p2 #111-115 for a concert. My understanding was that tickets were odd on one side and even on the other of the bowl. Where are our 4 tickets. The map only shows the section. Thank you

    • admin says:

Christine here is a photo of the view from your seats. You didn’t specify a row so I kind of went to the middle of the section. Also what are your actual seat numbers?

Hollywood Bowl Section P2 seats 111 through 115

  312. Edwin says:

Hi, I bought tickets for the Juanes concert on August 18. I got section K3, is that a bad section?

  313. Annie C says:

Thank you so much for your site! I am afraid I saw too late that the seats towards the front of section E are the ones to avoid. We have tickets for Neil Young, section E, row 3 and I think it’s the outermost seats. Will we be able to see anything?

    • admin says:

Annie looks like the updated map is not 100% correct. I am going to look for a newer version or maybe fix this one myself.

As far as your seats I took two photos. The best view you will have is shown in this photo:

Hollywood Bowl Section E Row Seat 33

The seat closer to the outside (41) has a view that is a bit more obstructed.

Hollywood Bowl Section E Row 3 seat 41

  314. Thomas J. Kauwling says:

I just received two tickets for the Neil Young show on October 17, 2012. The tickets came via FedEx; my name and address (319 E 56th St, Long Beach, CA, 90805) was correct, HOWEVER, the two 8.5 by 11 inch tickets are both “issued to” Mahendra Persaud.

We ordered tickets in Section S, Row four, and wanted them together, but the seats are numbered 105 & 106. Since Section S is in the center (and has no ‘mirror image’ section) I assume that seats in Section S are in correct numerical order, not split into Even on one side and Odd on the other. Is that correct?

Also, Please Advise: Did Mahendra Persaud get my tickets? My name Thomas J. Kauwling ( wife is Sandra) does not appear anywhere on the tickets. What’s up?

Thank you for your help in resolving my dilemma, Tom

    • admin says:

Thomas I would call the Hollywood Bowl Box Office to be sure. I will take a look at section S this week.

  315. Donna Leonard says:

Can you tell me if seat one is on the far side or the aisle side of Section A in the Pool Section for the Bob Dylan concert? Thank you.

  316. Les says:

Hello, I just checked the HB seating map and my tickets are in Sec. X 2. My question is “is it a grass area, benches or chairs”? Please let me know, so I could plan accordingly. I’ve never been to the HB before.

  317. Bowl Fan says:

I was looking at some seats from a 3rd party for Aerosmith. Section E row 6 seats 37 and 39. However, according to the “updated” map, Section E row 6 only goes to seat 35. Can you verify whether these seats exist? Also can you verify whether the views would be obstructed and how you know which seats in Section D and E are obstructed because I like to sit in these sections and don’t want to be disappointed.

    Thanks

    • admin says:

You are correct the map is wrong. The seats are there and not much of an obstruction. Here is a photo of the view from the seats.

  318. Steve says:

I have tickets in the garden box 743 for the 1812 overture. Do you have any pictures from that vantage point?

    • admin says:

Steve the box is dead center. Great view for the performance and the fireworks. This box is a box for 6. Here is a photo of the view.

      Hollywood Bowl Garden Box 743

  319. Donna Leonard says:

Hi, I just purchased tickets for Bob Dylan/Mark Knopfler. My tickets are Pool A, row 6. Does this mean I am in the 6th row back from the stage in section A?

    Thanks, Donna

    • admin says:

It does Donna. For many of the leased events at the Hollywood Bowl they replace the boxes with rows of folding chairs.

  320. Hector Castillo says:

I purchased 2 tickets for the Liza Minnelli show on August 11th, I saved my penies with so much sacrifice to get pool circle seats or at least great garden seat, but when when I called ticketmaster the day the when on sale at 10am, they told me all those good seats went on sale for Hollywood Bowl subscribers! wich it almost made me cry of anger and frustration! since Liza is one of my idols and since is my first time seeing her I wanted to be as close as possible… Well, the thing is, the best seats they were able to sell me were on section D row 13 seats 30 and 32. of course I bought them anyways, but I want to know how my view is gonna be from those seats, and if there’s gonna be anything blocking my view?
Thank you very much and I hope to see an answer from u soon =)

    • admin says:

Hector it is true that Hollywood Bowl Series Pool, Garden and Terrace boxes are mostly (if not all) taken for the summer by members who subscribe. You can call the box office each week and see if any of the subscribers turned back their tickets. It often happens. In regard to your seats there are no obstructions. Enjoy the show! Here is a photo.

  321. Emmanuel says:

I was thinking of purchasing some Aerosmith tix in Section E, Row 16, Seats 21 & 23. If I could get a picture of that to make sure the view is not obstructed that would be great.

  322. Sarani Gaines says:

I organizing a group for next year. Encouraging that we get boxes as I have done that before and it is great. I know that some boxes seat 4 and others seat 6. The 6 seat boxes are a bit crowded. How can you tell which boxes are 4 and with are 6?

    • admin says:

Sarani because of the shape of the bowl seating boxes can be all different sizes. I have been in very small 4-person boxes and very roomy 4-person boxes. If you look at the older seating map the 6-person boxes have a black dot in them. Always best to call the Hollywood Bowl Box Office to be 100% sure.

  323. Sophie says:

Hi, I was about to purchase a ticket for Norah Jones’s concert. It said “obstructed view” on the ticket. My seat is Section F3/ Row 1/ Seat 30. Will I be able to see the stage? It is really disappointing if all I can see is a large screen or concrete wall. Thanks for your help.

    • admin says:

Sophie this bench seat is indeed have an obstructed view (see the photo below). The positive is that it is an aisle seat.

Hollywood Bowl Section F1 Row 1 Seat 30

  324. Bernard Shakey says:

I have purchase a ticket for Peter Gabriel, and for the life of me, cannot locate
Section: POOL D / Row 5 / Seat 9. Any idea exactly where it might be?

    Thanks
    B.S.

    • admin says:

      Bernard,
Pool section is right up front. For leased events they remove the boxes and replace with chairs. Row D is the 4th row. Enjoy!

  325. Hilary says:

Hi, I went online and bought tickets for Peter Gabriel the very morning they went on sale and went for the $40 seats, best available. Granted they are not the more pricey ones, but its what we could afford. I got 4 in the U1 section, row 16, seats in the 50s, but then I just looked a month & 1/2 later and there were seats available in that section some rows closer to the stage. What determines the “Best Available” and what’s the view of the stage from this section?

    • admin says:

Hilary I am not too schooled on the ticket system from Ticket Master. I do notice sometimes that inventory gets released after the initial sale and better seats become available.

  326. Debra W says:

I’m thinking of buying seats in the first row of M2 for Rueben Blades but am concerned we might be bothered by people walking past all during the concert? Is there a barrier between first row and the walkway? Do you know if others in first row complain about this? Thanks

    • admin says:

Debra there is separation. Actually you will be higher than the people walking by where you probably will not even see their heads.

  327. Martha Hennigan says:

Just curious, what are the long rows of boxes hanging from the top of either side of the bowl – speakers?

    • admin says:

Martha they are speakers. They are designed so that people further back can hear the performance without deafening the folks closer to the stage.

  328. Lisa says:

Hi! Purchased Seats 115-112 in Section S, Row 3 – is there a way to tell if these seats are on or near an aisle? And will also be purchasing two more August concerts this week – how can I tell if the seats are aisle seats in advance? Thanks!

    • admin says:

Lisa for some reason the Hollywood Bowl maps only show the beginning seat numbers of each section and not the ending numbers. This gets asked a lot. Some day I am going to spend some time and augment the seating chart with the end seat numbers. Enjoy the summer shows.

  329. Holli says:

About to purchase tickets for my birthday to see Norah Jones. Any ideas on which are be G1 row 20 or H ? Im not so sure and this is the first time that I will have amazing seats at the bowl

    • admin says:

Holli I think you will be happy with either. Both will offer center stage views. Enjoy the show!

  330. cindy g. says:

Really great maps, but some row/seat detail lacking.
    I have tickets for Section L3, Row 2, Seats 30 & 32.
    Are these aisle seats?
If not, how many seats are in the row?
Are they individual seats (like the green ones at the top of this thread), or are they benches? Looking forward to Barry!!

    • admin says:

Cindy The rows are all different sizes because of the cone-like shape of the bowl. No map I have seen shows the end seat numbers (except for sections C & D). I will try and find out. Your seats are benches. The green “Super Seats” are in sections J1, H and G1.

    • admin says:

Cindy took a look at your seats. They are aisle seats. Here are a few photos. Enjoy the show!

Is there a way to see which Garden Boxes have a total of only 4 seats in them? We want to have dinner for 4 at the bowl but don’t want to be sitting with a random couple if the box is a 6 top. Thanks for your time.

    -John

    • admin says:

John take a look at this map and zoom in. The boxes of 6 have a black dot near them. Always best to check with the bowl box office to be sure.

  332. Cord Thomas says:

This is nearly the perfect resource for what I am looking for, but not quite. I am trying to find a seating chart that shows the seat ranges. For an upcoming show we want aisle seats, but I can’t figure out, say for section M1, what the seat ranges are. Is there any such map? Thank you.

    • admin says:

Cord I am in the process of updating the seating chart with a later version however even the new version doesn’t show ending seat numbers other than Sections E & D. Not sure why the Hollywood Bowl doesn’t list the end numbers for all sections.

  333. Myrnelle says:

Hi I just purchased Manilow tix for 4th of July show PCC row 6 seats 3 & 4. Do u have a POV shot avail? My boyfriend is a HUGE fan & this will be an awesome surprise! Your input would be so helpful. Thank u.

    • admin says:

Myrnelle I will look for a POV from this section. With the large screens almost all seats are great. Also because this is a fireworks show sitting back offers the best experience.

      • Myrnelle says:

Thank you! I was thinking the same thing, but aren’t these seats close to the stage? I figured since my bf has never seen BM it would be well worth it to bring him as close as possible. Also, we are sitting next to each other right? Thanks for your help!

  334. Kathryn Williams says:

When I was a realtor I used to these over the top parties at Hollywood Bowl.
Now, I have a disability and I can’t remember if you have handicap seats. I just went to Disney Hall with my mother, and I almost fell. I wish at Disney Hall I would have been in the Orchestra Section and I wouldn’t have almost fallen. Could you start a handicap section at Bowl and Hall if you don’t have one already? Kathryn

    • admin says:

Kathryn the The Hollywood Bowl is committed to making its concerts accessible to all who wish to enjoy live music. For additional information regarding accommodations and services, please ask for Department 12 of the Box Office at 323.850.2125, or TDD/TTY 323.850.2040. The offer electric cart drop-off and pick-ip. Here is a Bowl Access Map.

  335. Newbie says:

thank you so much for the excellent seating chart! This will be my first time visiting the Hollywood Bowl, and I just bought two tickets for the July 4th show in section E, row 10, seats 29 and 31. There is a note on your seating chart that seats in section D and E are obstructed. I was wondering if you might know whether these seats are obstructed in the sense that something is completely blocking your view of the stage, or whether there is a partial obstruction, as you are viewing the stage from the side of the arena? You mentioned in your post above that screens block some of the seats in this section, but it seems unlikely that the bowl would sell seats that were completely obstructed, so I went ahead and took a chance in buying them. I hope that we are able to see the stage, and not have to view the concert on a monitor. ๐Ÿ™ We paid $58 per ticket including taxes, shipping and fees, from a third party seller.

thanks so much for your feedback!

    • admin says:

Newbie I am not 100% positive however I believe you are far enough back in that section that there should be no obstruction. If I have a chance I will check.

    • admin says:

Newbie I checked out the seats and you are clear of any obstructions. Here are a couple of photos. Enjoy the show.

  336. Randall Barnes says:

Hi there, this a great website. Thanks for all the info. My wife and I bought tickets for the 4th of July Barry Manilow event on July3. We just downloaded our tickets we bought from Vivid Seats. They are T2 Row 1 Seats 19 and 21?? They were supposed to be next to each other? I can’t tell from the map what the order is and if they are on the middle or on the end. Any info would be helpful. Thanks again!

    • admin says:

Randall they will be next to each other. The Hollywood Bowl groups their seats by even numbers (2,4,6,etc) in one section and odd numbers (1,3,5,etc) in other sections. I am not sure why. Based on the number of questions from folks this might be the single most point of confusion. T2 Row 1 will be a nice view…especially for the firework. Enjoy.

    • admin says:

Randall took a look at your seats. They are together. Going to be a great view of the fireworks. Here are a few photos.

We were given tickets for Sunday (Father’s Day), in section T1 Row 12 how close are seats 40 and 42 to the aisle? Just wondering…

    • admin says:

They are. One side of the section are even numbers and the other side are the odd numbered seats.

  338. VM says:

If we only bought 2 tickets for box seats, will we be seated alone or with other people?

    Thanks!

    • admin says:

You will most likely have two other people in you box (or 4 other people if it a box of 6). You can see the seat numbering scheme for the box in the “Where Will I Sit?” section the this Hollywood Bowl site page.

  339. jml says:

This website/seating chart are fantastic! I just bought tickets for Neil Young…section P1 row 6 seats 10-12. Any chance I could get some vantage pics?

I’ve always had positive experiences at the Bowl, no matter the show or seat.

  340. Christa says:

I bought tickets for the 4th of July show, am traveling from out of state with my son, and the tickets say U1, row 13, seats 42 and 44. Please tell me I’m not leaving my son sitting by himself (he’s too young) since they aren’t sequentially numbered. And are they decent seats? Looking forward to the whole experience, especially the fireworks. Thank you ๐Ÿ™‚

    • admin says:

Christa the Hollywood Bowl numbering is odd seats on one side of the section (1,3,5,7,…) and even numbered seats on the other side of the section (2,4,6,8,…). You will have a great view of the fireworks and the large video screens. Make sure to wear patriotic clothing!

  341. lindsay says:

So i just bought two tickets to neil young and i think i might have gotten crappy seats… Do sec k3 21 & 23 suck? I hope not. Shoot!

  342. Zuma says:

I noticed that in some sections like D and E state obstructed view? Just wondering what type of obstruction is there? Thanks

    • admin says:

      Zuma,
The obstructions comes from the structures that hold the large screens on either side. It’s not many seats. Only the extreme end ones closer to the front.

      • Jeff says:

Aargh — I didn’t get a warning about obstructed view at any point in the purchase process, but should I worry that SEC D, Row 4, seats 30-32 are going to be obstructed view?

        • admin says:

Jeff I think you are OK. Take a look and enjoy the concert.

of row 7? and i boutght 2 together and they gave me 46 and 48? whats up with that

          • admin says:

Jon Section E seats are all even numbered while section D has just odd numbered seats. Not sure why it is like this. It confuses so many folks. Your seats are together. Will have a view from the seats later today.

    Hi , just bought 5 tickets for the July 4th fireworks , N2, Row 1 ( 110 to 14 )have 3 questions:
    1. There are 437 seats in this section, starting at 101 -what is the last seat before N3 ?
    2. Can we bring cushions to sit on as these benches look hard and we will be there for hours
    3. Tickets say 34 bucks but I paid 63 per

    Thanks! Marilyn

    • admin says:

      Marilyn,

      1. The last number in that row is 114 so you are on the aisle. Great seats BTW.

      2. You can bring cushions or rent them for a small fee.

      3. Not sure why they were so much more than the face value. Did you purchase them from a vendor? I know there are ticket fees but that seems excessive.

Here are a few photos. Enjoy!

        Hi,
I have seats in section J1 tomorrow evening, August 1, for the Neville Bros. and I believe those seats are similar to those pictured above in section H, correct? I much prefer the individual seats to the bench seats and wish that the Bowl would install more of these. It is very difficult to convince your ‘neighbors’ that they are in your space when all there is to identify it is a small number on the back of the bench. Besides this, people of hefty girth end up sitting on your lap whether you like it or not!! ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi, I recently purchased tickets for the Globel Warming Tour, Aerosmith and Cheaptrick, anyway recieved my tickets in the mail today, my section is K3, Row 6, seats 25,27, and 29, was wondering why they’re not together, or are they ? Thx tony

    • admin says:

They are Tony. Take a look at this hi-res seating chart. Notice odd/even bench seat numbering.

    • admin says:

Tony the Hollywood Bowl numbering is odd seats on one side of the section (1,3,5,7,…) and even numbered seats on the other side of the section (2,4,6,8,…).
